The Wandering Ghost

Test Subject H012 had no name. Ever since he became conscious, he had never left the Black Organization's laboratory. Inside the enormous cylindrical tank, his eyes stayed shut as he curled up and slept, like a specimen preserved in formalin. . According to the records, Test Subject H012 spent most of his time asleep. Only H012 knew that he was awake just as often as an ordinary person. His scarred body was confined against its will in a tank full of nutrient solution. His overwhelmed soul cast aside its painful memories and its heavy, broken shell, choosing instead to float toward distant freedom, light as a blank page. The blank-page-like Test Subject H012's “spirit” wandered innocently from place to place. Then. As nothing more than a wisp of invisible spirit, he was lucky enough to find happiness that would sustain him through a long, lightless darkness. . One day, young Hiromitsu went up the mountain to play and accidentally sprained his ankle. And so he met a little ghost who had no physical body or memories of life, and was wandering aimlessly. The young ghost peeked out and approached cautiously, like a little animal. Then, gently and cheerfully, he took away Hiromitsu's pain and happily became friends with the little boy. Hiromitsu brought the homeless, wandering little ghost back to his home. From then on, the Morofushi family had a special little ghost as a new member. [Reader's Guide] 1. The title's “unusual conduct” can mean either excellent character or strange behavior. 2. The main fandom is Detective Conan (90%). There may be a few crossover appearances from an ability-free slice-of-life anime, mostly as Easter eggs. The Morofushi family, including the parents, will be saved from their canon deaths. The early story focuses on everyday life and cuddly moments, with various cases mixed in. Later, the protagonist will work hard to save people and open cans of dog food. 3. The protagonist will remain a bodiless spirit for a long time (he is not dead!). See chapter 69 for reference: his consciousness is having a great time outside, while his body has been a canned specimen for ages. 4. The protagonist's body is impaired and incomplete, but he has an optimistic, sunny, puppy-like personality. The ending is a completely happy one! 4. The CP is confirmed to be Hiromitsu by the end. There are no secondary couples besides canon pairings. 5. OOC warning~ 6. Read or leave as you please. It was a Western fantasy post-apocalyptic game, a fairly standard adventure title. Best of all, the graphics were incredibly lifelike and the game offered extraordinary freedom. As long as you were willing to reload and try things, there was almost no plot or fate you couldn't change. The sheer volume of text, with not a single repeated detail, had left Sang Han stunned. Sang Han: Holy crap, I thought the “big-budget AAA game” in the promotional material was just hype... This game is free and has no in-game purchases. Won't the developers go bankrupt paying for it all? He immediately started a new account and set out to explore, talking to NPCs everywhere. Sang Han: Hello, do you have any quests? Any quests? Any more quests? Sang Han: Reload, reload. As long as I can reload, there's no quest I can't beat! Sang Han: Build affinity, give flowers, give books, give paper windmills... Yay, new gear! Huh? What! The NPC whose affinity I spent all afternoon raising is dead!? Reload! I have to reload! As long as it's not a scripted death, there's nothing we players can't handle! As long as it has a health bar, there's no monster we players can't kill! Sang Han: ...Why did my save get locked after the final boss fight!? Why can't I leave or reload!? Why can't I start New Game Plus!? I haven't gotten the platinum trophy yet! Wait, I just like playing games. I never wanted to transmigrate into one!?
