My name is Tomioka Giyu, and I am Urokodaki's disciple.
I have strange memories of other worlds, though most of them are vague and unclear.
Put simply, I seem to have had a strange encounter when I was little. Ever since then, whenever I fall asleep or zone out, my consciousness accidentally connects with people in other worlds.
I don't think it's a bother. After all, I can make up in another world for the time I'd otherwise waste sleeping or spacing out, then keep training and honing my swordsmanship without affecting my body's rest. It's wonderful.
The only trouble is that the people I connect with always seem to be in terrible situations. Either someone's trying to kill them, or their lives are in danger. It's only natural that I take over their bodies to help them deal with the danger, then have a good talk with the owners of those bodies.
But every time I save someone from another world and kindly teach them how to protect themselves, survive, escape, or stay healthy (?), they inexplicably end up hating me when it's time to say goodbye.
[You're leaving...?]
[F-Fine, go then!! Do you think I can't survive without you by my side? I don't need you. I hate you the most. I'll be much better off on my own!]
The wording may vary, but the general meaning is always about the same.
To sum it up, give or take: I was holding them back, and they'd be better off without me.
Me, Giyu, completely bewildered.
Oh. Then I'll go.
Heartbroken Mr. Giyu diligently trains hard and joins the Demon Slayer Corps. Having raised troublesome kids in the past, looking after others has become second nature to him. In his spare time, he'll offer a few pointers and casually hand over a little snack. When fighting demons, he instinctively shields the rookies beside him... Though he has a blank expression and a slow reaction time, and is a beat behind when it comes to social cues, he still seems to have earned plenty of admiring looks.
Mr. Giyu is as gentle and handsome as ever today.jpg

Mr. Giyu looked over here. Ah, we must have disturbed his meditation.jpg
From Giyu's perspective: Today, his fellow Demon Slayers once again spotted him and hurriedly turned around to get away.
Giyu: They don't hate me.
Giyu: ...Right? (hurt, confused, and bewildered)
Blank-faced yet considerate and adorable, Mr. Giyu is loved by everyone today, too.
Bottom, pairing undecided.
Planned crossover worlds: Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen (the story hasn't started yet, so these worlds may be removed or changed at any time).
Victims of our airheaded Water Hashira: the 5t5 kid, the Toji kid, the Mai kid... Not sure if there'll be a fourth victim, but I'll put a placeholder here for now.
Warning, warning: This is an OOC Giyu! This is a Giyu who isn't hated!
