Taming the Imperial Uncle

Several months had passed since the Regent adopted the princess into his household under the pretense of helping her recover, when in reality he was keeping her as a hostage to control the young emperor.

Memorials impeaching him piled up like mountains, but Yin Xie paid them no mind.

Then word spread that the little princess was being abused and had developed calluses on her palms. At last, an enraged official stood up and openly denounced the Regent in court.

Eight feet tall, Yin Xie approached at an unhurried pace and looked down at the man.

The oppressive intensity in his eyes silenced everyone around them.

He gave a scornful laugh, his arrogance unchecked. "Old fool, if you're so eager to die, I'll do you the favor."

When Yin Xie adopted Ji Ru, he thought he held a hostage in his hands. He never expected to bring home a living little tyrant.

The little princess was delicate and frail, precious and pampered. He had to do everything for her himself.

He had to put on her shoes, feed her medicine, and coax her to sleep. Even during her period, he had to personally attend to every little detail.

At first, he found it intolerable and was often cold to her. But as he cared for her, he gradually sank in too deep to pull himself free.

On nights unseen by anyone, Ji Ru looked down at Yin Xie kneeling before her. She tugged the golden chain in her hand and smiled sweetly.

"Uncle, do you like Manman that much?"

Yin Xie's neck tightened. He instinctively stepped forward and wrapped his arms around her waist, breathing her in deeply. "I like you. I only like Manman, my Manman..."

Ji Ru had a secret: she had died once.

On her eighteenth birthday, the ambitious Regent staged a rebellion, imprisoned her Crown Prince brother, and sent her, a fake princess, off to marry for political reasons. Driven to the brink, she jumped to her death.

Reborn, she decided to avoid that tragic fate by

stripping him of his personality.

· The heroine looks sweet and soft but is very good at training people. The hero looks cold and ruthless but is very good at being a pushover.

· The leads are not blood-related, and they are not on the same household register, so they are not uncle and niece in any real sense (as explained in Chapter 1). The romance and intimate interactions only begin after the heroine turns fifteen (she is already over fifteen at the start, with the soul of an eighteen-year-old; there is a ten-year age gap).

· A light, sweet story, probably with a slice-of-life feel (?). Mostly about the "details" of taming.
