[Blurb:]

The first time Jian Xun met Shen Muze was on the day she turned eighteen, at her father's funeral.

He walked toward her against the sunlight, bent down, and held out a hand. His lips curved faintly. "Would you like to come with me?"

His gentle eyes reflected her image and seemed to hold an irresistible allure, bewitching her into slowly reaching out her hand...

And so, she was adopted by a man ten years her senior.

In other people's eyes, Shen Muze is despicable and sinister, deeply calculating, and willing to do anything to achieve his aims. People both fear and hate him.

But in Jian Xun's eyes, he is mature, elegant, gentle, and powerful, like a noble and gracious aristocrat. She is fascinated by him, lost in him, and unable to pull herself away.

At the time, she didn't understand that the most beautiful things are often the most dangerous...

-

There is a room in Shen Muze's villa that no one is allowed to enter.

But one day, it opens to Jian Xun.

And later, in the dead of night, the slow approach of leather shoes can often be heard, followed by...

Shen Muze's low, seductive voice: "Where could my little prey be hiding?"
