[A note up front: This is a crossover with the main continuity of the Avengers and a bunch of other random British and American TV shows I've watched. Don't worry about the chaotic timeline. If anything makes you uncomfortable, run for the hills immediately. Also, the protagonist is kind and law-abiding, and there's romance as well as secret-identity reveals. If those are dealbreakers, run for the hills along with the above.]
The (sort of?) serious blurb:
Dorothy Fisher, daughter of a farmer in a small Kansas town, woke up one day to find herself lying in the family barn.
It was completely silent all around her.
Dorothy got up. "Wait, where are my cows? There were two huge cows in my barn!"
The feed trough and ropes were still there, but the cows were gone.
Questioning her sanity, Dorothy searched everywhere and found only two plastic cow figurines, each about the size of her thumb, by the feed trough.
Dorothy: "This is ridiculous."
Was I attacked? Did someone break in, knock me out, and steal my cows?
She tucked the little cow figurines into her pocket and went outside. In the nearby chicken coop, she found a bunch of toy chicks the size of fingernails. In the sheep pen, she found eight toy lambs. Finally, she reached the fishpond and found something even more ridiculous: a pond full of plastic fish figurines the size of tadpoles.
In their place, all the chickens, eight sheep, and fish she had raised were gone.
The entire farm was as quiet as a graveyard. Even the vegetable patch by the entrance had been picked clean.
Dorothy: "This is ridiculous."
She began to suspect it was the work of her former agent, so she pulled out her phone. "Did you do this? I know you were unhappy about my decision to retire and return to the countryside to farm, but did you really have to rob my farm over it?"
Agent: ...
The agent on the other end was silent for a long time, then snapped, "Yes, I did it. What, not happy? Want to save your farm? I sent you the location. If you don't show up, don't expect to get your cattle back!"
Dorothy: ??
Dorothy hesitated. "Well... but..."
The other person slammed down the phone.
The literary blurb:
I'm no longer young. I've sailed through countless storms, but I'm still willing to reach out and touch the fingertips of love.
Dedicated to my beloved superheroes. May they never end their stories embracing regret. (But this isn't a traditional redemption story or anything like that, so please don't get the wrong idea. TT)
The love interest is the first superhero she meets in Gotham!
Premise: A simple life is the best life.
Why is it that in Kansas, the male protagonist is not some super guy?
Dou Sen suddenly appeared hahahahaha my husband
It seems like something is missing... At least let me see who the male protagonist is.
Ahhhhhh Clark is so cute
Oh, this is Gotham!
Hahahahahahahaha, the silly heroine in "Why Don't You Know Me" is so interesting.
Please write, please, don't give up 😭 😭
Oh no, it's a tie but is it a trap?
Family, where is the update?
A giant goose the size of an ostrich... That's really a dinosaur alive
