Global Survival: From the Start, I Drew a Safe House

Everyone Survives + Farming + Infrastructure Building + Stockpiling + Fluffy Companions + Card Draws + Leveling Up Just as Jian Qinghe was starting out in the workforce, she was forcibly swept into a survival game called Everyone Survives. [Welcome to Everyone Survives. Loading the first instance: Dark Forest.] [Players are currently under a one-month newbie protection period. Please use this time to build a safe house, stockpile resources, and do your best to survive.] [Your newbie skill will now be issued.] Jian Qinghe stared at the endless forest before her and fell into deep thought. Towering trees that reached the clouds blotted out the sky. The shadowy woodland was crawling with poisonous insects, and the roars of magical beasts echoed from afar. Trembling, Jian Qinghe checked her newbie skill. [Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have activated the S-rank skill "Anything Can Be Drawn as a Card"! As a newbie gift, you get one free single draw. Would you like to draw?] Jian Qinghe's eyes lit up, and she tapped the screen. [Congratulations! You drew an SR-rank card: Crude Safe House] Jian Qinghe, the lucky one: System, did you just say I need to build a safe house? In this danger-filled world, Jian Qinghe worked hard to upgrade her safe house, stockpile supplies, and complete missions to earn more card draws so she could stay alive. [Congratulations! You drew an N-rank card: Rusty Dagger with a Tetanus Buff!] [Congratulations! You drew an R-rank card: Sprouting Magic Potato.] [Congratulations! You drew an SR-rank companion pet: Snow Fox Cub, Completely Useless Except for Eating and Sleeping!] Looking at the little snow fox in her arms, mewling for food, Jian Qinghe's eyes sparkled. There's fluffy stuff, too! Other players' survival: Fight tooth and nail against monsters in harsh environments, then use points in the System Shop to exchange for survival resources. Jian Qinghe's survival: Expand her safe house, reclaim wasteland, grow magical plants, build defense towers, and, along the way, raise a fluffy little fox. As she kept completing missions and accumulating card draws, the card pool finally began to level up. [Congratulations! You drew an SR-rank card: Greenhouse Plans!] [Congratulations! You drew an SSR-rank card: Automatic Irrigation System!] [Congratulations! You drew an SSR-rank card: Pet Transformation Pill!] Jian Qinghe fed the Transformation Pill to the chubby little fox that had grown up. A flash of white light, and a man appeared before her, with hair as white as snow, fluffy fox ears atop his head, and a bushy tail. The now-transformed big, chubby fox eagerly swished his tail and wrapped it tightly around Jian Qinghe. His voice was low and plaintive. "Master, I'm hungry. I want hot pot, barbecue, cake, and big-plate chicken." Jian Qinghe: ...So the only difference is that the chubby little fox turned into a chubby big fox? A month later, the newbie protection period ended, and natural disasters descended. Extreme cold and heat, earthquakes and gales, and rampaging beast tides swept across the entire server. Players across the server were all on edge, but Jian Qinghe had already used the infrastructure plans and rare materials she drew to gradually upgrade her original drafty little safe house into a sprawling manor. Outside the manor stood automatic defense towers to stop the beast tides. All sorts of crops grew in the greenhouses, and the warehouses were piled high with more infrastructure materials than she could ever use. Jian Qinghe lounged by the rocking chair, warming herself by the fire as the big, chubby fox wrapped his tail around her. She contentedly narrowed her eyes. [Server-wide Announcement: Congratulations to player Jian Qinghe for achieving the "Unharmed Under the Onslaught of Twenty Types of Natural Disaster" achievement in the Dark Forest instance.] Players across the server: "What?! Poet, I'm reporting this. Someone's cheating!" Jian Qinghe smiled faintly. Dark Forest, Endless Desert, Frozen Wasteland, Zombie Town, Desolate Outer Space... No matter what kind of survival instance she entered, she would begin a new legend. Theme: Live life to the fullest
