Am I the Only Idiot?

Hi, let me introduce myself! My name is Ula Poe. I’m twenty years old and from the United States. My older brother is a famous mystery writer. He’s a little socially anxious, but super smart! My adoptive father is the leader of a mafia organization. He may be a lolicon, but he’s super smart! My best friend is the tactical strategist for a group. She may get embarrassed easily, but she’s super smart! My teacher is known as the Worrywart. He’s a detective agency member and a former mafia executive. He may be inexplicably obsessed with killing himself, but he’s super smart! My new boyfriend is the world’s greatest detective. He may not know how to ride the subway and get lost all the time, but he’s super smart too! Huh? W-wait, am I the only idiot here? Um… I’m not very bright, but I should be able to survive in Yokohama, right? Everyone: Stay back! When you’re out and about, don’t go chatting with just anyone. You might get sold off without even realizing it. Ula: Okay, got it. She runs into a kind-looking Russian man wearing a fluffy hat on the street. Ula’s eyes light up. “Hi! Your hat is so cute. Where did you buy it? Could you recommend a place? I want to get one just like it!” Dostoevsky: “…?” If he’s not mistaken, isn’t this that great detective’s little girlfriend? One day, the detective gets a gift from his girlfriend: a fluffy hat. The detective agency members fall silent when they see the familiar hat. Reader’s guide: In this story, she is Poe’s younger sister. They are both socially anxious, but for different reasons (laughs). Pairing: Ranpo. Theme: Everyone has their own strengths, and fools can be lucky too.
