[Genshin Impact] Does a Clockwork Girl Dream of Purple-Haired Cats?

Also known as: "That Time I Went Undercover in the Resistance and Picked Up a Handsome Interstellar Man"

P.S. The story is mostly original. You don't need to have played the game to read it.

As the Antimatter Legion's ace spy embedded in the resistance (self-proclaimed), my daily duties are: act nice, look respectable, and write useless reports. Then one day, I fished a handsome man calling himself "Argenti" out of a swamp. Not only was this injured man far too good-looking, he also had the soul of a bard. Even while gravely wounded and barely conscious, he kept bombarding me with galaxy-level flattery.

So here's the problem:

1. My squadmates are convinced he's a heaven-sent ally.

2. My spy reports now have to include a section called "Abnormal Handsome Man Observation Journal."

3. He looks at me as if I'm the greatest person alive. Heaven knows my real KPI is to sabotage things!

*Novella, Argenti pairing, written for fun. No promises that the characters will stay in character. Almost none of the game plot appears; I'm making it all up.

*Usually updated weekly. If nothing special comes up, it's just because I write slowly [wry smile].

*Will it be finished? Absolutely, ladies, absolutely.

The following is the blurb for this story:

This story will be complete and go premium on August 29.

Completed work: [Genshin Impact] Even Today, I Want to Slack Off as a Subordinate of a God, Xiao's romantic pairing

"I have a human heart, you know, and it's a girl's heart, too."

I've transmigrated for the second time. Well, look at that, the heavens really do have eyes.

The first time I transmigrated, I went from being an office worker who couldn't do a thing for herself to a mechanical puppet built for combat.

I thought this was a story about artificial intelligence rising up, but artificial intelligence really was just artificial intelligence. I was the only idiot there, shaking in my boots.

The second time I transmigrated, I brought this leaky puppet body straight to Teyvat.

With my energy running critically low, I was practically on the verge of death.

Thankfully, I was still rescued.

The silver-white rose watered with blood managed to survive after all.

Looking at the beautiful boy in front of me with his big hat, I reached out a hand like Er Kang: "Boss! I'm a newbie, please carry me! Awoo!"

"...Hmph. Keep up."

From then on, I owed my life to you.

I'm a new writer, so please forgive the writing and any out-of-character moments.

First person.

The female protagonist is not Lumine, and she transmigrated here rather than being a native.

Please note at the start:

The female protagonist meets Scaramouche during his wandering period, after he has left Tatarasuna and his child friend has died, but before he joins the Fatui.

Scaramouche had no name during that period, so the female protagonist will give him one, and will call him by it for quite a while.

Theme: I hope no one will ever be lonely
