You're the Nichirin Blade, You Idiot

Liushuo is a spirit sword. Normally, she should have signed a contract with a cultivator she found reasonably pleasing, then made a name for herself in the cultivation world alongside them. But... she discovered that the cultivation world seemed to be gone. Liushuo: ?? No big deal. She'd transmigrated, that was all. She signed a contract with a boy carrying a terrible blood feud. Together, they could travel around slaying evil spirits and make every demon tremble at their name! Hey! Wait a second, are you kidding me? You have a spirit sword now, so why are you still carrying that lousy woodcutting knife? Throw it away already! Tan-Tan: Huh? B-but... what will I use to chop wood if I throw it away? Liushuo: ... The last shred of dignity the spirit sword had left forced Liushuo to accept that her sword wielder also owned a woodcutting knife. So why, exactly, was her sword wielder a mere mortal who still had to chop wood and cook meals?! - After his family was slaughtered and his little sister turned into a demon, Tan-Tan decided to join the Demon Slayer Corps and become a demon hunter. But before that, there was one problem. He'd made a contract with a sword, and she was still hung up on the fact that he owned a woodcutting knife. As a result, Tan-Tan didn't dare look at that knife for too long while chopping wood, afraid his sword might lose her temper and cut the knife to pieces. Then he'd have to chop wood with his head... But... the Demon Slayer Corps uses Nichirin Blades to slay demons. Tan-Tan: Um... Liushuo? Liushuo: ?? What are you thinking!? I'm telling you, no! Don't even think about it! One mistress is bad enough. You want to bring home another one?! Tan-Tan: ... Ahem, but... we need Nichirin Blades to kill demons... Liushuo gritted her teeth. "Use me!" I refuse to believe that I, a dignified spirit sword, can't outdo some lousy blade! And so, another strange Nichirin Blade joined the Demon Slayer Corps. Though Liushuo was clearly a sword, everyone insisted on calling her a Nichirin Blade, and she spent every day on the verge of exploding. Who are you calling a Nichirin Blade? Blade this, blade that! You're the Nichirin Blade, your whole family is made of Nichirin Blades! I'm a spirit sword! Do you even know what a spirit sword is? Huh? Call me that again and I'll cut you down! Tan-Tan: Wait! Liushuo, you can't cut them! They're our comrades! Everyone: What a temperamental Nichirin Blade. Liushuo: #&*@... Tan-Tan: ... Stop calling her a Nichirin Blade. At this rate, I really won't be able to hold her back qwq Reader's Guide: 1. No romance. This is simply the bond between a sword and its wielder. Her possessiveness is limited to the woodcutting knife and Nichirin Blades. 2. It's Demon Slayer, not Hashira Slayer. Since we're writing about a sword, let's not get all angsty (peacefully). Theme: Every effort is rewarded.
