The Younger Generation Is Worrying

Baicheng Yayoi is the captain and setter of Inarizaki's volleyball team. He has just started his third year, and his biggest worry right now is that all his juniors seem afraid of him, except for Kita Shinsuke.

A friend says it is probably because the student council president gives off such a strong honor-student aura.

Baicheng Yayoi: ?

Quite a few talented rookies seem to have joined this year, including a pair of twins who were already famous back in middle school.

The problem is that the blond twin has a mouth that really knows how to make enemies. Baicheng Yayoi is worried that in this sports club, where the senior-junior hierarchy is clearly defined, someone might want to stuff this sharp-tongued junior into a sack and beat him up.

It's so worrying. He just can't stop worrying about it.

Since he couldn't stop worrying, and because he figured he wasn't easy to approach, he tried asking a friend to smooth things over between Miya Atsumu and the other upperclassmen on the volleyball team.

...Then his friend refused, so Baicheng Yayoi had no choice but to try approaching the new setter in his own way.

To his surprise, the first-year setter wasn't afraid of him at all, and the two quickly grew close.

Baicheng Yayoi, who has no juniors willing to get close to him except Kita Shinsuke: I'm kind of happy.

It won't be very long, maybe it'll wrap up after a hundred thousand or so words.

Theme: Keep at it, and persevere.
