My Favorite Is Number One in the Universe

After his father left irresponsibly, saddling him with a huge pile of loan-shark debt, Karasuma Yashio took one look at the IOUs and his father's note on the table and felt his vision go black. His life, already spent working six jobs, had just gotten even worse. Even so, the debt was enormous. For some reason, that bastard had even dared to borrow money from the yakuza. When Karasuma Yashio was cornered in an alley for failing to pay, he thought he was done for. But then "All right, that's the mission over." A body pierced through, blood spraying everywhere. He should have been terrified after witnessing a murder, but for some reason, he didn't feel the slightest bit of fear. The man who had killed someone, no, the boy, narrowed his eyes slightly and pressed his index finger to his lips. "Shh." His heart pounded without stopping. Karasuma Yashio had once overheard classmates talking about their idols and the people they were fans of, and now he felt as if a door to a whole new world had opened before him. Somehow finding the courage, he grabbed the hem of the stranger's clothes and asked: "Excuse me, does this line of work pay well?!" He thought he might, possibly, perhaps, have become a fan of this stranger. Besides, he really needed the money. Pairing with Nanyun. The author's writing is average, with my own take on OOC and personal headcanons. Theme: Perseverance will always bring a reward
