After Putting a Filter on the Strongest

Thanks to an exceptionally unusual innate technique, Sakurai Aoki remembers his past lives. He's lived more than a dozen lives so far, but each one brought tremendous misfortune, and he never lasted long.

The only time he reached adulthood was one of those past lives. He was the most evil curse user, standing against humanity. Since he was a supervillain, it was only natural that he was hunted down.

After losing, his greatest wish was to be reincarnated without his memories. Honestly, he was sick and tired of dying and coming back to life.

A curse wouldn't be a curse if prayer could make it disappear. So when Aoki was reincarnated yet again and imprisoned by a curse user, he even had the presence of mind to rank this life's opening.

In the past, he wanted to live but couldn't. This time, he wanted to die, but somehow managed to survive. Aoki didn't know what to make of it.

What, was he supposed to praise the curse user for being so talented at keeping someone just barely alive?

Seriously, he might as well have died sooner.

Could things get any more outrageous? Oh, they could.

Just as breathing had become painful, while he was silently calculating how many days he had left to live, an explosive surge of cursed energy erupted with a thunderous boom.

The wall in front of him was blasted open. A young white-haired boy kicked aside the curse user lying on the ground, his expression faintly disgusted. The moment Aoki looked up...

That face really was identical to his one and only friend, Sugawara no Michizane. And that familiar surge of cursed energy... The Six Eyes, right?

Zenin Aoki: ...After dying so many times, I guess you really can see anything.

"Gojo really was so, so cool back then."

"Because I'm the powerful and thoughtful Mr. Gojo." The strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer of the present day praised himself without the slightest embarrassment.

Sakurai Aoki smoothly played along with the boast. "That's right, Gojo is amazing."
