Blurb:
Shu Nian, a concubine-born daughter, spent sixteen years in a small city at the edge of the world. One letter from her mother sent her back to the Shu family. On the way, bandits attacked her, and she was rescued by General Huo, who had just returned from a great battle.
To outsiders, General Huo was a paranoid, sinister living King of Hell. But before Shu Nian, he was a gentle, refined gentleman, his phoenix eyes smiling, his bearing noble and distinguished.
Until one day, at the spring hunt, she was held in Prince Jun's arms. Huo Rong reached out to her, his phoenix eyes dark and sinister, his presence cold and severe, ordering her to come to him. It was the first time Shu Nian had seen this side of Huo Rong.
Heavy rain sealed off the mountain. Huo Rong cornered Shu Nian in a cave. The cold, oppressive aura around him made her tremble with fear. Shaking, she asked, "General, what are you going to do?"
Huo Rong wrapped both arms around her slender, soft waist and lifted her onto his lean hips. Blood-red threads crept into his phoenix eyes. "It seems I've been far too gentle with you. You've forgotten who your man is."
(Crazy, possessive general x sweet, clever concubine-born young lady)
1. The male lead is genuinely crazy and will stop at nothing for the female lead. He's a cold-faced, possessive living King of Hell.
2. The leads are each other's only intimate partners, both physically and emotionally. Happy ending.
3. Set in an imaginary dynasty. Please don't overanalyze the historical details.
Coming soon: A Joyful Courtship
Blurb:
An imperial decree arrived at the residence, forcing Wei Shu to enter the palace as a consort in place of her younger half-sister.
The chief eunuch, Xie Bing'an, wielded absolute power. He and Wei Shu were sworn enemies, their families bound by a blood feud, and entering the palace meant certain death for her.
Before she entered the palace, she happened to save a young slave covered in blood.
The slave had no parents and a pitiful past. Wei Shu took him in and gave him shelter, planning to give him some money and send him away once she entered the palace.
The young slave was cold and aloof, with a nasty temper. Any servant who came near Wei Shu and hurt her had their bones snapped by him.
Each time, he would give her a mocking glance. "Why put up with it? Is that all you've got?"
Later...
The day came for her to enter the palace.
Wei Shu sold her jewelry for some money and gave it to the young slave, telling him to make a life for himself elsewhere.
But the young slave broke into her room at night and tried to take her away.
Wei Shu knew her fate was sealed and couldn't drag the young slave down with her. She could only force herself to push him away and lash out cruelly: "I'm going to the palace to live in luxury as a consort, not to wander the world with you."
Disappointment filled the young slave's eyes. At last, he let go of her hand and sneered, "Then this servant congratulates Your Highness in advance."
After Wei Shu entered the palace...
She saw her sworn enemy Xie, whom she had never met before, and only then learned the truth.
Xie Bing'an was the young slave who had always been by her side.
He had been using the name Wen Jiu.
.
The male lead's story
Xie Bing'an hid his identity and only wanted to repay Wei Shu for saving his life, then keep his distance from her.
But when the time came to meet her, he did everything he could to conceal who he was, afraid she might uncover even the smallest clue.
Later, his identity was exposed.
He trapped Wei Shu when she tried to escape, gripping her waist and forcing her into a passionate embrace.
The magnificent palace of red walls and tiled roofs was a vast cage that could devour a person's soul and magnify their greed without limit.
The one who could protect her and keep her safe and happy inside that cage...
Could only be him.
And his only desire was her.
[Important notes!]
1. The destruction of the male lead's and female lead's families has a hidden story behind it, which will be revealed later.
2. The romance is the main focus.
3. The writing isn't angsty. There's sweetness, too.

Theme: Strive to improve yourself every day.
If a man doesn't choose well, he will never stop suffering.
Shu Huai is like Bai Yueguang. This big brother immediately touched my heart.
You guys can check out the pre-collection + serialization~ Serial article: "I raised a villain wolf cub" (younger generation/sister-brother relationship/crazy criticizing of paranoid male protagonists/forcible robbery) Pre-receipt of the article: "The little slave I abandoned is a traitor" [The powerful eunuch in charge of the ceremony x the down-and-out concubine who abandoned the eunuch in the palm]
I'll make a supplement tomorrow to give an explanation of the subsequent plot~
I really want to watch the extra story about Wen Zhan and Shu Nian in the parallel world (general Huo spare his life hahahaha)
Why is the female protagonist either being robbed or being killed? I feel like after watching so many scenes, the female protagonist is the one being murdered and the male protagonist is saving her.
??? Judging from my shallow experience in reading novels, don't the male protagonists in this crazy setting always insist on not letting go of the female protagonist? Why... Um...
It's Shura Field again hahahahaha
Little fairies~Updated around 11 o'clock tonight~ (refill)
Don't pursue logic too much (for example, why did the general fall in love with Shu Nian all of a sudden? I originally thought that the past and present life or something would be explained in the follow-up, but it didn't happen, so it's inexplicable that she has to be the one, and the same goes for King Chen). But, if it doesn't happen, there won't be. It's a pleasure to watch, and I feel like there are a lot of private settings in the plot. I like it.
