He never expects the game to be instant death from the start, with a difficulty level straight out of hell.

And he can only play as a guy.

After countless attempts, he never makes it past his first birthday. The player loses it and curses the scam game.

Then he gets transported straight into the game.

He's told he can't go home until he completes an ending and successfully wins over a love interest.

What the hell? I have to romance a male character... romance a guy...

To get home, the player has no choice but to grind hard, to try... Forget it. He'll just lie flat and play the game.

P.S. This story is a little different from other simulator stories!!!! The player isn't here just for laughs. The protagonist is very laid-back at first; he doesn't want to play this game and just goes with the flow! This is the author's personal favorite, with plenty of surprising twists, multiple endings and branching paths. It might not be a power fantasy. The protagonist is pretty conflicted and has plenty of flaws, and his personality may change a lot later on. Still, this is indeed a romance-focused story; the author just has a bit of an unusual way of thinking. 🥹
