[This is the next story I plan to write. I’ve been working on the idea for ages, so please add it to your collection!]
Feng Xuan is a minor character in the comic Absolute Pollution No. 1. One week before his destined death, he awakens and successfully gains the ability “Comic Perspective.”
According to the plot, he is supposed to die horribly in the outbreak of the S-rank pollution entity, Blood Feast, at the beginning of Volume 2.
But that fate can be changed.
“Comic Perspective” says that if he plans his appearances well, creates enough mystery, and becomes a standout, popular character in the comic, readers will truly believe he exists.
Then Feng Xuan really can gain the corresponding powers, survive, and save this world on the verge of collapse.

And so, two new characters, one on each side of the conflict, soon appeared in the otherwise unremarkable disaster-and-pollution comic Absolute Pollution No. 1: Dark Sky Screen and Fountain of Life.
The two are twins, but their fates could not be more different.
The former is arrogant and unruly, roaming the dark cults outside the city, descending into the flames and conquering all pollution.
The latter is clear-headed and rational, a healer with no offensive abilities, willing to sacrifice himself to save every life.
Their drastically different fates, silver hair and blue eyes versus black hair and red eyes, youthful looks, and breathtaking beauty sent their popularity soaring.
Along with their repeated clashes and heartfelt teamwork in dungeons with the comic’s protagonist, Chu Tianyou, Absolute Pollution No. 1 also turned around its declining serialization and shot to the top of the sales charts.
The forum was full of anguished cries:
“Oh my god, I’m obsessed. Chu and Feng are made for each other.”
“An immortal couple! I love childhood-friend friendships, and I absolutely devour destined rivals.”
“He is the black crow of fate, the death-bringing bird of good tidings.”
“I love him. A boy who chases the wind forever, sinking into deadly pollution again and again, only to come back to life.”
“Buying it all! If you don’t buy merch for this character, you’re not human. I love him!”
Feng Xuan, who had quietly left without claiming credit, innocently remarked: “A comic needs popularity. Other than establishing a character, there’s no faster way than selling couples. And I’m selling two at once, so take your pick.”
“Comic Perspective”: ...
When it came to outrageous schemes, it seemed to be no match for its master. It really was just the master’s ability.
PS: A drama-loving shou who’s great at acting and has two secret identities, childhood friend and boss, versus a passionate, sunny, righteous gong. Due to his ability, the gong has a threshold, and once he passes it, he gets very crazy and erratic.
