[Wildflowers by the roadside die soon after you find them, before you even have a chance to cherish them.]
A Xue is a disposable side character. He doesn’t even deserve a surname, but unlike other disposable characters, he has two distinguishing traits:
One: He’s exceptionally good-looking.
Two: The protagonist gong is always especially fond of him.
In the first story, A Xue is an outer-sect disciple with both ambition and a good-for-nothing spiritual root. The junior fellow disciple from the inner sect is exceptionally gifted. The sect master, senior disciples, elders... everyone adores the junior, and the junior likes him.
A Xue takes full advantage of that affection and acts out as much as he can. After all, he was cast in the role of a vicious disposable character. At last, the sect can no longer tolerate him, and after he repeatedly frames the junior, the junior’s gaze is no longer filled with tender affection at night.
A Xue panics and turns to him for help, but he pushes him away.
Those who admire the junior want to teach A Xue a lesson. Afraid of pain, A Xue forces himself to fly on his sword and escape, but falls to his death mid-flight.
As he lies dying, A Xue sees the junior among the onlookers, and the disbelief in his eyes as he looks at A Xue, barely clinging to life.
…
A hundred years later, the junior ascends to godhood, and A Xue wakes among a pile of weeds. During the war between humans and demons, the junior is summoned down from the heavens as a high god to join the battle. In a fleeting glimpse, he spots a figure in the corner, clutching a broom and sweeping away the fallen snow.

Second story: "The Withered-Bone Empress", After I died, he held a skeleton in his arms and crowned it empress. He thought it was me, but it wasn’t.
Third story: "Puppet Show", At first, I thought he was my puppet, so I kept him, threatened him, and deceived him. Later, he successfully turned the tables and declared that he would take terrible revenge and torment me. I had a flash of inspiration and died.
Right after that, I saw him looking utterly insane.
Couple: beautiful disposable-character bottom × universally adored protagonist top.
[He is an insignificant character in the story, but he leaves an indelible mark on his heart.]
Theme: Cherish the lives you meet along the way.
