"Are you tired of simulation games where you have to do everything yourself? Do you dread having to clock in for daily tasks in a game even after you get off work?

Then this fully automated idle simulation game is perfect for you! Just tap the screen to send your subordinates out to conquer new territory and complete daily tasks for you. During the beta, all in-app purchases are at least 50% off!"

After seeing this ad, you make up your mind and buy a strange simulation management game called The Distillery Boss Decides to Change Careers. But what's even stranger is that, although it's a management sim, its difficulty is every bit as brutal as Dark Souls or Elden Ring.

Choose the wrong option, even just once, and all your subordinates will turn against you. They can be at full loyalty one turn, then go out to complete a daily task and come back as traitors! How does that even happen?! This is ridiculous!

The starter pack comes with a subordinate named Gin. He's hardworking, incredibly efficient, and always has max loyalty. But if you keep sending him out to work, won't he end up overworked...?

And is this seriously a management sim? Why are most of the random events that pop up on the map murder cases?

But you've never been one to back down, so you decide to stick it out. You refuse to believe this stupid game can really leave its players with no way forward! If the subordinates from the various gift packs can't be trusted, you'll just go out and recruit them yourself!

1. Third-person narration. Silly, very silly. The timelines will merge later on.

2. Mainly Bungou Stray Dogs and Detective Conan. A management sim, romance (?), and raising-game mashup.

3. OOC warning. A mountain of original settings, with a heavily altered plot.

Theme: Put in the work yourself to create a better future
