The On-Screen Comments All Think I'm a Saint

The Honmaru AU for Jian Liu: The Swords All Think I'm a Good Person. See the author's profile! Next up: The Bystander Decides to Play the Evil God Blurb: As the Super High School Level Hope, Shendu Jianliu was the second test subject in the “Hope Cultivation Project.” His original personality hadn't been stripped away, but he had to endure the effects of the modifications at all times, suffering immense pain. System: “Didn't you want to spread hope to the world again? Join our Redemption Livestream Project! Everything you do will be broadcast to a world of despair, bringing hope to everyone!” Shendu Jianliu: “...I hope you're not lying to me.” #A Certain Underground Organization in Yokohama# By a twist of fate, Shendu Jianliu met a guy with bandages wrapped around his head. Seeing the despair in his eyes, Jianliu decided to make him his first target. When he got something good at the end of the year, he gave it to him. When the guy said things that went over his head, Jianliu encouraged him. He did the things that people in despair often did right in front of him, hoping to move him! [Waaah, Dazai, stop treating yourself like dirt in front of Shendu! He isn't lying to you, he's just that good!] [I can feel the light! I can feel hope!] [Shendu has been through so much, yet he keeps putting up with Dazai's tests. Save me, I'm a hundred times happier than he is, so why am I still so depressed? Tomorrow I'm going to work with a smile too!] Shendu Jianliu: “...” The System might not have been lying to him. Until one day, he faced a deadly choice between two lives. The soft-haired black-haired boy smiled and tilted his head, then pointed a weapon at him. His joking words carried a barely perceptible final test: “Jianliu, you don't really think we're friends, do you?” “Yeah.” Shendu Jianliu nodded earnestly and pulled the trigger pointed at his own head. #A Certain Jujutsu School# Everyone thought Shendu Jianliu was a lackey of the rotten oranges, and that he had enrolled at Jujutsu High only to spy for the higher-ups. When they gave him assignments, he slipped away to slack off. He even stole the fancy desserts Gojo had gone to such trouble to order. [Those rotten oranges are despicable. They agreed to the terms, then secretly poisoned him anyway!] [No, Shendu, don't go deal with a Special Grade by yourself again!] [Gojo, Shendu coughs up blood every day. If you bothered to check on him, you'd know he isn't doing it on purpose!] The strongest sorcerer was completely unaware. When he angrily confronted the supposed mole, he stumbled upon a secret. Oh? Gojo hid behind the door and perked up his ears, trying to eavesdrop on whatever secret plans Shendu had with the rotten oranges... “We agreed that everything should be aimed at me.” “Stop trying to assassinate my friends.” Reader's guide: 1. A platonic redemption story, with fake death and a regretful pursuit! The tropes are very clear from the blurb, so please don't read if they're not your thing. 2. There are a few moments of people reading too much into things~ There are more comments early on, serving to advance the plot, explain details, and provide some silly commentary. There will be fewer in the paid chapters. The comments are inspired by comments on a certain site, and I've given a prominent warning ※. If you don't like them, I don't recommend reading. 3. The protagonist's true personality is revealed little by little later on. Don't jump to conclusions early on; some of the foreshadowing won't be explained until later. 4. There are some personal changes to Danganronpa, which serves as background material (you can still read without knowing it). The timelines of the other worlds have been altered slightly. I'll carefully consider everyone's feedback. I've made the warnings clear. Comments that start arguments or make the free chapters unpleasant to read will be moderated. I generally won't delete chapter comments. Thanks for understanding.
