Two aliens with eternal lives came to conquer Earth. They raised a human baby. She’ll get hurt.” Everyday synopsis: Number Two believed completing the mission was just as important as looking after the child. She pierced a giant squid over a hundred feet long in the Pacific Ocean. Then she triggered a powerful undersea earthquake. But when she got home, she wiped the seawater from her body, and blew away the cold wind. She gathered her human child into her arms. Inside her mechanical body were the most poisonous substances in the world, and the bloodied bones of living creatures. Yet beside her lay the most harmless human baby. Born on her home planet, she was infected by a virus called humanity. Coming soon: Starting at the Produce Market Du Lang is a four-year-old child. She lives with her mother near a produce market. During the day, her mother sells pork, while Du Lang plays with the landlady’s grandmother. Her mother has raised her to be sturdy and cheerful... though they’re a little poor. One day, Du Lang crawls into a wardrobe. Deep inside, she finds a long passage. She crawls and crawls, until she reaches a big, beautiful garden. A little boy in a suit is startled. Their eyes meet. That day, Du Lang gets to eat the ice cream she has been craving, and the boy, Chu Mu, sees his cousin, who always bullies him, get beaten until he wails. They promise to keep it a secret. But little kids have a hard time keeping secrets. One rainy night, a sorrowful society lady follows Chu Mu through the little passage in the garden. And so she leaves her cold, ostentatious world of wealth and steps into the noisy, bustling produce market... Theme: Love is everything
