[Finally finished the story about Kenji next door, so I can finally start this one, www. Next up, I'll write about Miss Matsuda and Mr. Matsuda.]

After the explosion, Miss Matsuda only regretted that she wouldn't be able to avenge Hagi, or see her two fellow trainees who had disappeared without a trace.

She thought she'd stay asleep forever, but unexpectedly woke up again.

But what did she see...?

1. No one can see Miss Matsuda except Mr. Matsuda.

2. In this story, she's addressed as Miss Matsuda, while Mr. Matsuda is called Matsuda Jinpei.

3. In the black-side world, Hagi is dead, Bourbon is also on the black side, Hiro is an undercover agent on the red side and is being hunted, and Akai is still FBI.

4. Miss Matsuda can touch other people or things whenever she wants, and can eat too, but Mr. Matsuda can't touch her of his own free will.

5. There will be some OOC moments, since the overall tone is lighthearted with a little angst mixed in.

Synopsis:

I, Edogawa Ayako, was adopted by the Edogawa family.

Because I was precocious and just as smart, I was forced to help my older brother raise me after our parents died.

During that time, the two of us made a name for ourselves as super detectives.

Anyway, now Ranpo and I are slacking off at the Armed Detective Agency.

But that doesn't explain why I was forced to sit in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, saddled with the title of Yokohama's rising star in law enforcement.

So is this your fault, you little curly-haired weirdo wearing sunglasses to hide your expression while grinning like a smug creep?

Is this how you repay me for saving your life and your best friend's?

The main focus is on cases, with romance on the side... so there'll be quite a lot of cases, and I'll try out various ways of solving them. Don't read if that's not your thing. (

3. This is an alternate timeline for Shiranou Ayako from the story next door. This is what would have happened if she hadn't become a boss.
