I go for the premise, and fun comes first. I read from whatever angle suits my tastes, but the main couple matters most. I can't handle melodramatic angst. I'm just a tolerant, kind-hearted, omnivorous girl who wants a smooth read.

I have eclectic tastes (anything but insect-themed stories; sometimes I only realize a book has bugs after buying it). I tend to prefer historical danmei. If the writing is decent, I usually give it three or four stars; five stars means it’s a personal favorite.
