The Immortal Lord Ascends Against the Grain

When Immortal Lord Hengyuan cultivated the Dao, he once severed one of his hands. His anger, obsession, and delusions gathered there, and its flesh, blood, bones, and sinews each transformed into a demonic incarnation. They scattered across the 3,600 realms, wreaking havoc. The Immortal Lord descended to the mortal world himself to eliminate the demons. All 3,600 incarnations were destroyed, leaving only a small fragment of bone, which vanished without a trace. With a great calamity approaching, Hengyuan sent a sliver of his soul down to the mortal world, intending to grind this disobedient little bone fragment to dust. The barrier was utterly destroyed, the Eight Trigrams Formation turned on its creators, and countless mysterious cultivators appeared one after another. The entire Seventeen Provinces were thrown into turmoil. After his father disappeared and his siblings were separated from him, Ning Xiu stumbled into the Eight Trigrams Formation. There, he found a weak sword spirit and glimpsed a chance to escape. With a blade in one hand and a sword in the other, he broke through the formation. At first, nobody paid any attention to this strange cultivator who had come from the mortal world. His meridians were riddled with cracks, his dantian was artificial, and his soul wavered as if it might disperse at any moment. He was like a little clay doll made of sand. And yet this utterly ordinary cultivator, wielding a broken blade and a broken sword, led a band of hotheaded youngsters all the way to the Nine Provinces. The crowd called upon Immortal Lord Hengyuan to quell the chaos. His clear eyes shifted slightly, settling on Ning Xiu. "Give me back my dad!" Ning Xiu said, his killing intent unmistakable. Hengyuan's expression turned peculiar. He looked at the rebellious fragment of his own middle finger bone. "If you want to call me Dad, I suppose that's fine too." The broken blade, the broken sword, and countless great formations came crashing down on him. "Go dream about that in your mother's springtime!" For the first time in his life, little Immortal Lord Ning cursed someone. Later, the sliver of Hengyuan's soul that he had reclaimed kept making a fuss about seeing Ning Xiu. For some peace and quiet, Hengyuan took on the appearance of a sword spirit. As soon as he entered, someone threw their arms around him. The little immortal who had once pointed at him and cursed his mother was now gentle and affectionate, tending his wounds and applying medicine, while badmouthing someone else. "That old Hengyuan is shameless." "His eyes have no color. Is he blind or something?" "I've never seen anyone so ugly." "Minghe, stay away from him."
