A Guide to Finding Family in the Apocalypse

My name is Xian Ye. I'm a person. When the zombie apocalypse broke out, I thought the world had finally gone back to normal. So I picked up a weapon, carried my parents, and traveled from south to north to find my long-lost twin brother. I pushed my parents in front of my brother and asked him, aggrieved and heartbroken, "Brother, why didn't you come looking for me all these years?" He looked terrified. Taking off his glasses, he said coldly, "Sorry, I'm an only child." I was going crazy. My brother, my own flesh-and-blood brother, refused to acknowledge me. My name is Xian Lu. I'm an utterly ordinary corporate drone. When the apocalypse came, I was working overtime like crazy. Before I could even get my year-end bonus, I outsmarted the zombies in a thirteen-story office building and finally escaped back to my hometown. I planned to build an impregnable shelter, but then a lunatic showed up. He dragged a bloodstained broadsword and had a string of pale skulls slung over his gun. He said they belonged to my father, mother, grandparents, third uncle, and second aunt. I was scared out of my mind. Trembling, I took off my glasses and wiped the blood off them, then told him I was an only child and both my parents were dead. I had no other relatives. The smile on his face froze. He put the blade to my neck and called me "Big Brother" in a gentle, affectionate voice. I nodded frantically. "From now on, you're my brother, though we have different parents. If that doesn't work, you can be the older brother." And so I began diligently taking care of my little brother. Then I saw him crouching in front of the fridge, gnawing on raw meat, and knew I was done for. Later, the little lunatic climbed into my bed, and at last, in my dazed state, I remembered that a long time ago in the village, I really had acknowledged a younger brother. Then I personally sent him to a psychiatric hospital. Well, this wasn't a family reunion. He'd come to get revenge! Brooding, obsessive seme x elite office-worker uke Note: 1.
