[Detective Conan] The World Through Tea-Gold Eyes

Also known as: A Player's World of Experiences (Conan-focused crossover)

A bewildering world.

Right after arriving in this world, I came across something interesting.

Ever since I was born, the world I've seen has looked like a game.

I could even choose my starting appearance.

To test whether this world was a game, I gave myself a pair of tea-gold eyes.

They were extraordinarily dazzling, the kind of beautiful eyes normal people could never have.

Tea-gold eyes could bring to mind new sprouts of life, fresh green tinged with yellow, while the ring around the iris was pure gold, beautiful beyond compare.

And then I really did have those eyes.

Unfortunately, the person with these eyes, which seemed to have a life of their own, didn't particularly respect life.

I had both intelligence and a tendency toward self-destruction, no desire to survive, and even wanted to fall into ruin.

My sensitivity to pain was only 22% of a normal person's, but my sense of touch was unexpectedly keen.

I had strength no ordinary person could match.

Great. This setup was very player-like.

The second thing I tried was loading a save.

As it turned out, if I saved first and then cut my wrists to kill myself, I could successfully return to my original save point.

It hurt a little, and the water felt kind of cold afterward.

Okay, so it really was a game.

I discovered I couldn't log out.

So I started trying all kinds of ways to kill myself, even buying a complete suicide manual like that anime character Dazai.

Then, after attending school like any normal person, I met five mountain gorillas.

Maybe even in a game world, I could try forming emotional bonds.

It's just so hard to kick the bucket.

No matter. I'm a player. I can load a save.
