After Ascending, I Became the Demon Lord's White Moonlight

The war between immortals and demons had raged without end since ancient times. But in this generation, when the Demon Venerable and the Immortal Lord took office, both turned out to be cultivation fanatics. They had only one goal: defeat the other, rule the Nine Provinces and Three Realms, and become the supreme ruler of all under heaven.

In a pear orchard, a person danced with a sword as petals fluttered down and settled on him. But in the next instant, a small pebble knocked the sword from his hand. Xuan Mo looked up and saw Gu Qingxue, dressed in white, sitting in a pear tree. With the haughty air of someone born to rule, he spoke in a cool, clear voice: "Your grip on the sword is unsteady and weak. Using it like that will only damage your sword cultivation."

Shen Muxue was so busy correcting his cheap disciple's swordsmanship that he failed to notice the increasingly intense look in Xuan Mo's eyes as he gazed at him.

Ever since he was old enough to understand his feelings, Xuan Mo had known that what he felt for that person was anything but ordinary. He had planned to seize the throne and then imprison Gu Qingxue at his side. But on the day he ascended the throne, that person attained the Immortal Dao and ascended right before his eyes...

Xuan Mo searched for Gu Qingxue for his entire life, but never heard another word of him.

In the Demon Realm, when the Demon Venerable Su Jing returned to his body, his left and right aides saw the usually cold and unfeeling ruler seem to lose himself for a fleeting moment.

News of Demon Venerable Su Jing's breakthrough spread through the Nine Provinces and Three Realms in an instant. Everyone speculated that the long-dormant war between immortals and demons was about to erupt once more, and that the Three Realms would never again know a day of peace. In the end, however, the strange thing was that only the Immortal Domain was left in a state of unrest.

Yu Ze, an Immortal Lord second only to Xuanji, finally could not endure the Demon Realm's constant harassment every few days. He brought forth one of the four great treasures of the Immortal Sect and demanded, "Demon, why are you tormenting everyone in the Immortal Domain like this?"

Seeing this, everyone brought out their magical weapons. But the demon said calmly, "I have come to find someone."

Immortal Lord Yu Ze said, "Ridiculous! Have you been a demon for so long that you've even forgotten how to make up a lie?"

Su Jing rubbed the jade pendant left behind by that person, lowered his eyes, and said, "I've come to find my master."

Before Yu Ze could start cursing him, Su Jing swept both hands outward. The Demon Realm's left and right aides appeared beside him, bringing numerous treasures from the Demon Realm.

Su Jing said, "And then ask him to marry me."

2. Names in the human world: Xuan Mo and Gu Qingxue. Their real names: Su Jing and Shen Muxue.

3. Demon Venerable Su Jing (gong) and Immortal Lord Xuanji (shou).

4. A cruel yet devoted Demon Venerable (Sob, sob, Master, why don't you remember me? I'm your well-behaved disciple) and an arrogant, aloof Immortal Lord (Who is this guy? Why does he keep hanging around me?).

5. The Immortal Lord will lose his memories after ascending, but he will remember everything eventually.
