I seem to be under some kind of "unemployment curse": I'm getting fired almost every day.
So I made up my mind to start my own business and become my own boss. That way, nobody could fire me!
As it happens, the cabinet doors at home turned into portals to another world, and visitors from other worlds started appearing from time to time. My family was already struggling to put food on the table, and things only got harder. From then on, our household set down some ironclad rules:
[You have to work to earn your meals! Pay for damaged furniture and pay rent!]
I grabbed a black-haired young man with an elegant aristocratic air, lounging by the window. "Stop posing and grab your stick. Come roll out some dough with me. Our King's Big Wraps stall needs to open early today so we can claim a good spot."
"...It's not a stick, it's a wand!" the black-haired mage protested. His expression was dark and mysterious. "I'm observing the clouds to make a divination. Something big is going to happen soon."
"The big thing is that if we're any later, we won't get a good stall spot today. Observing clouds is the weather forecaster's job!"
I put on my coat and looked over at the beautiful blonde with green eyes sitting beside the dining table. "Remember to apply for that landscaping job in the neighboring residential complex later. I made your ID and left it on the table."
The pretty blonde elf prince blinked and pointed at the ID. "I'm already 160 years old. Why does it say I'm only 18?"
"You look only 16, not 160." My eyelids drooped. "And if we put your real age on it, they'd immediately know it's a fake ID!"
Whether it was a great mage, an elven prince, a thousand-year-old mermaid, a nine-tailed fox demon, or a zombie king, whoever came here from another world, I treated them all the same: [Work is glorious. Work gets you fed. Paying for damages is only fair, and everyone is responsible for paying rent.]
And as for running away or refusing to pay your debts?
Me: I'm just an ordinary person who believes in reason.
The otherworldly kings: ...You mean the hard truth of your fists?! And how does someone with maxed-out strength, capable of bending ten-thousand-year-old black iron with their bare hands, count as ordinary?! QAQ

Zuo Weimian, the youngest leader in the history of the Space-Time Administration, had already sensed the first signs of a time-space disturbance.
Everyone in the Space-Time Administration prepared to eliminate the dangerous otherworldly kings and handle the potential social upheaval. This was a once-in-a-thousand-years cataclysmic disturbance.
And yet, society remained perfectly peaceful.
The members of the Space-Time Administration were astonished. Even Zuo Weimian, whose expression was always blank, furrowed his brow slightly. Something was wrong. Was this the calm before the storm?
Then one day, as Zuo Weimian passed a roasted sweet potato stall, he faintly sensed the aura of the ruler of Planet X19, the Dragon of Molten Lava!
A woman with long, straight black hair was standing beside the stall.
"Come on over and take a look! Don't miss out on our sweet, fragrant sweet potatoes!" The black-haired woman turned to Zuo Weimian. "Hey, handsome, want one? Our roasted sweet potatoes are cooked just right."
Zuo Weimian: "..."
His gaze couldn't help drifting toward the sweet potato oven. If his extraordinary powers of perception were correct, the Dragon of Molten Lava was inside!
Was she roasting sweet potatoes with the Dragon of Molten Lava in the oven...?

Underling: "Your Majesty, it's been three months since the eldest young master was sent to Earth."
Dragon King of Molten Lava: "Has he successfully conquered Earth?"
Underling: "The eldest young master successfully learned how to roast sweet potatoes!"
