The Strange Swordsmen Who Are Always Misunderstood [Touken Ranbu]

○ When sword warriors reincarnate as all kinds of creatures and then become sword warriors again, they inevitably retain some habits or traits from their past lives, so they keep getting misunderstood! ○ Episodic stories in a Japanese light-novel style. Overall, a lighthearted, funny, chaotic read. For readers who can roll with anything. → World One: [The happy puppy reincarnation, Hizamaru] A fragment spirit of Hizamaru reincarnated as a puppy, then became a sword warrior again. But his puppy memories are still in the driver's seat. This Hizamaru manifests in a dark citadel that will soon be shut down. As a dog, he's used to being leashed when he goes out, lowering his head to lap up food and water, and naturally, not wearing clothes. The first thing he asks after learning to talk is: Am I a good dog? The other blades: Aaaah, Hizamaru! What did you do to him, you scummy master?! Higekiri: ...Time to slay a demon. A story about the happy everyday life of reincarnated puppy-fragment-spirit Hizamaru, while everyone else just wants to chop the scummy master into mincemeat. (Of course, in the end he does properly become a sword warrior.) → World Two: [Tsurumaru Kuninaga the mimic chest monster] As a treasure chest, naturally you can open your stomach whenever you want to take something out. Hey, did I scare you? Oh, this isn't a blade-body modification! I'm really a chest! → World Three: [Would a mole knockoff meet Yamabushi Kunihiro, cold-shouldered in the storehouse?] The mole version of Yamanbagiri Kunihiro has a base beneath the citadel. He dug a tunnel connecting it to the real Yamabushi Kunihiro in the storehouse. Yamabushi: ...How did you get in here? Yamanbagiri: I dug a hole. Yamabushi: ? Yamanbagiri: Actually, I spend most of my time underground. Yamabushi: ?? Yamanbagiri: Um... I have an underground city. Want to come? Yamabushi: ??? → World Four: [Akashi, the flounder, just likes sticking to the bottom of the pond. He's not dead] → World Five: [How do I explain that I, a sword warrior, reincarnated as a history revisionist?] → World Six: [He's not corrupted, he's just a vampire bat, okay?!] → World Seven: [Poor citadel! Good thing one of the blades used to be an idol, so he can debut and get rich] To be continued. The stories above won't necessarily appear in this order. The volume notes will make it clear. Theme: Love and warmth.
