I Want to Escape the Main Plot of the Detective Conan World!

○ Main story complete *^_^* ○ Check out my fellow author Yan Xun's *Detective Hagiwara Wants to Save Himself*~ = Asahi Yukiaki seemed to have died, then seemed to have come back to life. And from the start, he discovered that his reincarnation hadn't begun as a baby, but right outside the police academy. His memories of the past were a complete blank. Standing at the academy gates, he stared in a daze at the translucent comments that had suddenly appeared before his eyes. What left him even more stunned were the lines of text flying past. [Whoa, starting at the police academy gates? Is this a sixth-member-of-the-police-academy squad setup? Didn't expect the official story to borrow this from fanfiction, lol] [I know the drill. Tragic, beautiful, and powerful characters are all the rage these days www] [Anyway, police academy stories are usually packed with angst! The sixth member is there to take the hits! Charge!!] Asahi Yukiaki: “…” He immediately grabbed a passing young man with blond hair and dark skin, smiling as he asked, “Hello, classmate. Do you know where I can go to withdraw from the academy?” Furuya: “...Huh?” Asahi Yukiaki: “I've decided to pursue my dream. My life's ambition is to run a peaceful melon stand. No unripe melons, just the kind that's guaranteed ripe.” Comments: [???] Comments: [What kind of new pickup line is this...? Wait, isn't this supposed to be a sixth member of the police academy squad? Why is he dropping out from the start? Is something wrong with this opening?!] As everyone knows, the moment a character appears, they're at risk of getting killed off. The main characters of shonen manga have it especially rough: their families are murdered, they suffer countless ups and downs, and they're put through misery before things finally get better. The ending might be happy, but the road there is full of twists and turns! Asahi Yukiaki, who only wants to live an ordinary life, declares: Goodbye! I'm going to escape this angst-filled main plot! = Business was booming, so Asahi Yukiaki decided to get some help at his melon stand. He hired a young man named Moroboshi Dai as a temporary worker. Half an hour later, during a quiet moment, Asahi casually opened the comments. [Whoa! So Asahi really is connected to the Black Organization?? Rye picked the perfect spot to keep watch on his target, and it's Asahi's stand!] [A melon stand really is a convenient place to keep an eye on things, haha. And Asahi's there too! He looks so calm, like he knows exactly what's going on.] Asahi Yukiaki: “…” Why is a main character working here as a temp?! Is selling melons really right for you?! Since suddenly kicking him out would be too suspicious, Asahi crossed his arms and spoke gravely without looking directly at the man beside him. “Mr. Moroboshi, you're fired. Please leave as soon as possible.” Two minutes later, the target sent some lackeys over to search the place. Akai, in the shadows: Was that a warning just now...? Comments: [As expected, there's danger! Asahi spotted that something was wrong ages ago!] Asahi Yukiaki: “…” I'm just an honest melon seller who guarantees ripe fruit! QAQ = On the cruise ship, Asahi Yukiaki wandered through the corridors with the friend he'd teamed up with for this event. He quietly led his friend away from the young boy detective and his friends, murmuring, “That was close... I nearly got involved.” He absolutely would not get involved in the main plot! New friend: “What?” Asahi Yukiaki: “Nothing.” He smiled gently at his friend. “I know you're different from them.” You're a safe passerby, not a main character! New friend: “…” After the cruise ship was robbed, his new friend peeled off his disguise, and the Phantom Thief Kid made his dazzling debut! Asahi Yukiaki: ??? [!! It's Kid!! No wonder Asahi said you were different from them. Kid was in disguise!] [Asahi definitely figured it out already. Kid's expression back then was pretty telling, too...] Asahi Yukiaki: “…” Young people have no sense of honor! How can you go around in disguise!! (flips table) = Asahi ran and ran, the main plot pursued him. Asahi ran, the main plot pursued him. He fled, it chased, and he couldn't escape even if he grew wings Comments (dazed): [This isn't how things are supposed to go!] Comments (thoughtful, leaning back strategically): [I get it. This is actually a reverse-trope story where the protagonist plays the pig to eat the tiger from behind the scenes!] Asahi: ? Asahi: I'm just committed to selling melons peacefully. Don't drag me into the main plot!! #Help! The more I try to escape, the closer I get to the main plot, and now everyone thinks I'm some kind of big shot??# While Asahi was getting a headache, a young heir of the Karasuma family in the Black Organization was also struggling with one. After discovering that his capable subordinate was a traitor, he didn't execute him on the spot. Instead, out of a desire to toy with him, he decided to play a one-sided game. He erased the man's memories and dumped him at the police academy, planning to kill him when he infiltrated the Organization again. He would enjoy watching the man repeat his futile tragedy as a little spice in his life. Then he discovered that the man hadn't gone to the police academy at all. He'd dropped out from the start and was selling melons every day instead??? Watching the elite of the Organization, before losing his memories, turn into a lazy fool and race through a wildly inexplicable story, the Karasuma heir thought: ...Did the memory wipe damage his brain? And on the day the Organization fell, he suddenly realized the truth. “So it was all part of your plan!” Asahi: ? Asahi: What? Who are you? I'm really just an ordinary passerby! #What the heck? I finished the main plot while playing a game of cat and mouse with it# = ★ The story includes some original worldbuilding about Japanese watermelons. See the novel for details~ ★ The footage from the third-person videos has been altered by the world's consciousness. It's similar to a regular anime, not a continuous real-time livestream from a single point of view. ★ A silly, delusion-inducing story with flashbacks! The protagonist loses his memories from the start and becomes a happy, muscle-memory-driven (?) lovable idiot. The past and present are told in an interwoven narrative. Theme: Be brave, my friend
