Everyone knows Miss Lina Oakleyde is a rose: beautiful, but covered in thorns and difficult to approach. She is always at the very center of the ballroom, basking in everyone's attention, yet never getting entangled with anyone. She can leave whenever she pleases.

Wherever Lina goes, a tall, gloomy man is always standing in the shadows behind her. Like a vicious dog, he fixes a savage stare on every nobleman who tries to approach his rose.

After flirting with a young lord from a certain family, Lina steps into the shadows and takes the handkerchief Arnold offers her, casually wiping the back of her hand.

She looks up and meets the vicious dog's utterly sincere, fervent gaze.

Lina reaches out and gently strokes the back of Arnold's neck. "I only danced with him."

"Good. Arnold is the most obedient."

Later, the Oakleyde family falls from power after being implicated in witchcraft. Lina, a witch, is bound and brought before the Wizards' Tribunal. The head of the tribunal is Arnold, the very man she once drove away herself. This time, it seems he is the one standing above her, in control of everything.

Lina still holds her head high, like a red rose blooming proudly in a storm.

Some people gloat, hoping to see the tribunal head take revenge on the woman who once mistreated him.

Instead, they are surprised to see Lina smile.

"My little dog has learned to bite," she says calmly.

Arnold instinctively drops to one knee in front of everyone.

Content warnings:

1. The male lead gets mistreated. His feelings are not a concern.

2. The male lead is a virgin, and so is the female lead. That's final! They are both virgins!

3. It's short, just a fun read.

After traveling to another world, Winnie becomes the last little witch. She lives in the human world with her parents and older brothers.

Ever since she was young, she's been taught to study hard and take the Holy Spirit Scepter from the God of Light, so the demons can rise again!

Little Winnie, wearing a wizard's hat and holding a fire poker: "For the Holy Spirit Scepter! Pew pew pew!!"

When Winnie grows up, she enrolls in a magic academy.

By the fountain stands a statue of the victorious God of Light, admired by all. People pray to it, voicing their love and worship.

Winnie is always in the crowd, staring at the Holy Spirit Scepter in the god's hand.

Her considerate upperclassman asks, "Do you really admire the God of Light?"

The little witch answers without hesitation, "No. I just want that fire poker."

Upperclassman: ??

People revere the God of Light, never realizing that even a god can be lonely.

Time and again, he longs for someone to call him by his true name, but no one ever does.

Hearing that demons still linger in the Abyss, the god takes the form of a young man and goes to the little witch, becoming her upperclassman.

Who could have guessed the little witch would be so innocent? Even the god can't help laughing at her from time to time.

He thinks, That fire poker destroyed your homeland, silly girl.

Then the silly girl named Winnie turns to him and says, "Albert, I'm telling you this in secret, so don't make fun of me, okay?"

It is the first time anyone has ever called him by name.

He smiles, tenderness rippling in his eyes. "All right."

Innocent, adorable little witch x slightly cunning God of Light

Theme: No matter what you go through, love can never be extinguished.
