The Demon King Asiborn was cruel and ruthless. With a casual flick of his finger, he could bring an apocalypse upon countless living beings.

He once led the demons in an assault on the Domain of Light, bringing long-lasting darkness to its eternal holy radiance and stripping the God of Light of half his divinity.

His upward-curving horns and blood-red, savage eyes both testified to his glory as a hunter of the entire world.

Asiborn called himself the Hunter of the Night, determined to capture every living thing.

But one day, the arrogant Demon King was effortlessly shackled around the neck by a woman.

She was stunningly beautiful, with eyes as alluring as dew in an abyss, clear and cool. The pure white wings behind her silently revealed her identity.

Asiborn could not fight back and fell to his knees. She pulled the chain tight behind him, forcing the Demon King to raise his head.

Just as he had once held his head high in arrogance.

She smiled. "The hunt is over."

Lightning illuminated the woman's face. The Demon King saw a black rose, still in bud, branded beneath her left eye.

Asiborn suddenly remembered:

Three hundred years ago, during the war between gods and demons, he had once spared a little angel.

The reason was that the angel was too weak to qualify as his prey.

Back then, he had branded a black rose beneath the angel's left eye.

As a hunter angel, Doris was never stingy with her predatory gaze toward her prey.

Especially prey that was disobedient and difficult to tame.

But after Selina dragged the exalted God of Light from the divine throne and inflicted unprecedented torment on him, she saw him prostrate on the ground, his holy eyes filled with feverish excitement.

He seemed to enjoy it immensely.
