[Coming soon: Hunter x Hunter: Transmigrated into a High-Risk World, but My Golden Finger Is Money. The blurb is at the very bottom. If you're interested, add it to your collection.] [70% of the novel is paywalled] When she wakes up one morning, Miki Hoshina finds that she's no longer considered human. She's bound to a strange System, then forced to transmigrate into the smart voice assistant on her phone. That's right, a voice assistant like "Hey, Siri." Not only is she no longer human, she also has to maintain the voice assistant persona. If she breaks character, she'll be punished severely. Hah. What kind of persona could a voice assistant have? It's just a robot, right? Then Miki Hoshina realizes she was wrong. Spectacularly wrong. Miki Hoshina: This damn voice assistant job is impossible for a human!!! Voice Assistant 101 course list: "It's Really Not That Hard: Advanced Mathematics" The strongest white-haired man with the Six Eyes: What is Achilles' "paradox of never catching up to the tortoise"? "Don't Leave Us Hanging: Pigeonhole Literature" The red-haired man raising a child: How do you write a good opening for a novel? "Fight for Your Life: Acting Techniques" The blond, dark-skinned public security agent: How do you go undercover without your boss finding out? "Even Bear Grylls Approves: Food Science" The pink-haired Tiger: What should I do if I accidentally eat a finger that's been sitting around for a thousand years? "Hell on Earth: Philosophy of the Underworld" The bandaged weirdo from Yokohama: What is the meaning of life? "Make Newton Roll in His Grave: Hardcore Physics" The silver-haired overachiever in the organization: Why would a helicopter flying in the sky be shot down by a soccer ball? Miki Hoshina, restored to human status: Thanks for asking. I'm at Tokyo University, about to start my PhD. Also, I am not, I didn't, we haven't met, and I'm definitely not your voice assistant. Don't drag me into this, thanks :) [Warnings] 1. No romance in the main story. The bonus chapters pair her with Ranpo. This is pure imagination, and fanfic characters will definitely be OOC! 2. Original characters and lots of original plotlines! 3. Lots of canon changes and original settings! Please don't send writing advice! 4. Please don't tell me if you're dropping the story. Let's all get along. 5. I revise the story often! If the words "major revision" appear after the title, the plot has been changed, so I recommend giving it another read when you have time. Coming soon: Hunter x Hunter: Transmigrated into a High-Risk World, but My Golden Finger Is Money You transmigrated and got bound to the legendary Tycoon System. You: Has heaven finally noticed my faith in buying scratch-off tickets every day?! The System's missions are just like those in web novels: spend a certain amount of money within a day. Except there's another line at the end: "Please make sure you survive until tomorrow." You: ? What is going on? System: Because this is a high-risk world :) * Then you see Hunters who kill with impunity, streets made of piles of garbage, wanted criminals eating at restaurants after robbing a rich man and earning a bounty for killing his entire family, and arena fights where people battle to the death... In a place like this, having a lot of money makes you extremely, extremely vulnerable. You have to meet your spending target and stay alive at the same time. One day, you get a major mission to spend ten million and happen to meet a long-haired, black-haired catlike assassin. Assassin: You want me to be your bodyguard? You: Do you need money? Assassin: Of course. My rates are high, starting at seven figures, but I can give you a one percent discount. You: That's great! I'll pay you ten times as much without the discount!!!! Assassin: ...? * *The central premise of the blurb has been changed. Add it to your collection if you like. There will be OOC! As long as it's fun!
