-
Before his coming-of-age ceremony, Lu Qian finds his sect destroyed, the seals on the Demon Suppression Tower broken, and the Eastern Continent in ruins. In the space of a single day, every sect is wiped out. Luckily, his master, Bai Yu Lou, sends him to the mortal world at the last moment.
While fleeing through the mortal world, Lu Qian is hunted by demons and cursed by ordinary people. At last, he escapes to Kunlun, intending to end his life. Exhausted, he collapses in the midst of a blizzard, and is rescued by a blue-eyed, blond-haired man.
The man introduces himself as Otto, from the distant Western Continent. Lu Qian may also call him by his new name: Yue Shishen.
But this barbarian's words and actions are utterly shocking. He's shamelessly licentious, and when he rushes up to Lu Qian for the first time and puckers his lips, Lu Qian doesn't hesitate to slap him.
Yue Shishen's deep blue eyes flicker slightly after the slap. He seems... excited!
No one has ever treated him like that before!
He wants another slap.
He leans in.
Lu Qian calls him crazy and tries to chase him off, but he refuses to leave.
So Yue Shishen follows Lu Qian around, refusing to let go. He says he's from the Western Continent, the last god there, and that he crossed the River Styx to get here after a fierce battle with a three-tongued monster called Typhon Tigris.
Lu Qian doesn't believe him.
Then Yue Shishen tells him that the Book of Prophecies of the Western Continent says a god will come from the Eastern Continent, rising up from the abyss.
Only later does Lu Qian discover that Yue Shishen was telling the truth. But the newly born god is Lu Qian himself, and all of this is a lie concocted by the Western Continent to usher in a god. -
1. Mechanical arts are everywhere. The Eastern and Western Continents collide, and the worldbuilding is extensive. The main setting is the cultivation world.
2. A master of mechanisms, cold on the outside but warm at heart, as the bottom, paired with a wanton fallen god as the top. One-on-one, happy ending, younger top, evenly matched. The top really does have a Western appearance.
3. An ancient setting, but with advanced biology and things like prosthetic limbs.
4. In this parallel world, there are only two continents: the Eastern Continent and the Western Continent.
5. Biology, medicine, and other fields cannot be explained by science. The story is made up from beginning to end and takes place in a completely fictional world.
Theme: Go to the mortal world and see the sun set in the west, as new light begins to shine in the east.
