The Despairing Cult Leader Is Still Taking Care of Kids Today

Enoshima Tsukiko, ability: [Absolute Despair].

It allows her to make people fall into "absolute despair." Even the simplest things can trigger it, like making eye contact or hearing her speak. In short, it's a terrifying mental ability that makes people wary of her.

Enoshima Tsukiko: "I'm the Ultimate Despair's heir, and I just want to live an ordinary life."

Reporter: "What made you come to that conclusion, Miss Enoshima?"

Enoshima Tsukiko: "Well, since I'm despair itself, having 'hope in my heart' is already the ultimate form of despair, isn't it? So, to reach this 'ultimate despair,' I've decided to live each day with hope. I guess that means I'll just live an ordinary life~"

Yumeno Kyusaku peeked out obediently and tugged on Enoshima Tsukiko's short skirt. "Sis, the neighbor just called to say our house is on fire. Did you forget to turn off the gas again when you went out?"

Enoshima Tsukiko [lost in thought]: "It seems like I might have."

Yumeno Kyusaku [the look of a minor]: "…"

Reporter [sweating]: "Um, Miss Enoshima, aren't you going back?"

Enoshima Tsukiko [expressionless]: "Forget it. It's already burned down. What would going back do?"

Yumeno Kyusaku [quietly raising a hand]: "I think the chocolate in my room might still be salvageable."

The characters may be OOC, and there are plenty of alternate interpretations. If that bothers you, please steer clear. The heroine is pretty carefree and may turn into Junko when she's having an episode. Kyusaku is like family to her.

Theme: Why does no one write about Kyusaku? Is he not cute?
