[Onmyoji + Demon Slayer] Raising My First Jiangshi

A Demon Slayer and Onmyoji crossover fanfic. Since a crossover was planned, I decided to write a 120,000-character short story for love, before the crossover. The protagonist is a beloved little girl, Kanko, with no male lead. Some of the skills draw more inspiration from Heian-Kyo (the author plays Heian-Kyo, since they really can't figure out how to play Onmyoji). Everything else follows Onmyoji, and other shikigami may appear later too (=￣ω￣=)

I habitually don't write blurbs, so here's one in the style of Jinjiang

Because of a bug, Kanko, the shikigami in [your] shikigami assignment, accidentally fell into the world of Demon Slayer, which was about to have a crossover:

Sakonji: This child is strange and keeps calling me Ootengu, but she's a good kid.

(Unspoken thought: She doesn't seem quite right in the head.)

Giyu Tomioka: Someone who can see my sister.

(Additional thought: Probably a person.)

Sabito: I'll never forget that kick at Final Selection.

(Hidden note: Three broken ribs.)

Rui: The children are mine. I'll take the liquid assets in the account and leave you the house.

(Comment: Don't read too much into it. They're just playing house.)

Kanko [Yes, your Kanko was raised all wrong. Other than being cheerful, lively, and fond of animals, she's nothing like the one in the game]: This is so pitiful! They can only stay alive by eating people. They'll starve to death if this goes on!

(Note: Kanko was raised by a six-star player used to dog food and R/N shikigami.)

After returning, Kanko entered the world of Demon Slayer again and discovered that she wasn't the only one who'd come over. The other shikigami were here too! But the Onmyoji Master had disconnected and gone back to the courtyard. What should they do?

The shikigami: How did you get back that time?

Kanko: It was blood! Uncle Muzan injected me with his blood, and then I got back!

The shikigami: [Stare]

Muzan: [In danger]

1. Contains lots of original worldbuilding.

2. A writing exercise. Please forgive any OOC.

3. Written for love. Please do encourage me to update, or I won't have the motivation and might abandon the story (gets hit).

Updated February 28, 2021: There is a male lead now. The male lead is Rui. Sorry, everyone. I really did mean to write a story with no couples, but I ended up shipping them myself, hahaha. I'm thinking of making a cover for the book. Sigh, I guess I'll draw it myself, emmmm.

(The talisman on the cover is finished!! Please check out my new story next door, Red Spider Lily~)

Theme: Sweet romance
