(Author's warning at the beginning: If you only want to read the synopsis, you can skip the prequel and go straight to the main story. The prequel mostly focuses on the heroine's changing feelings and how her worldview takes shape, so it can be a little dull and put some readers off. If you want sweet romance, skip straight to the present-day arc. Though, as I write this, I haven't reached that arc yet.)

Synopsis: Normal Version

As a newly born Jinming, she spends every day trotting after the older girls of her kind, doing her best to learn from them.

Little Jinming: “Sister, sister! How can I become as amazing as you?”

Ye Ming, the trickster Red Spider Lily: “Once you find your Skull Reaper, you'll evolve into an SP Red Spider Lily.”

Little Jinming: “Then how do I find a Skull Reaper?”

Ye Ming the Red Spider Lily: “Find a greedy human, grant their wish, make a contract, and then...”

Jinming: “Would you like to become the soil for my flowers?”

[Demon Slayer]

Muzan: “I'm looking for the blue spider lily.”

Jinming: “What a coincidence. I'm looking for the white spider lily.”

Douma, the babysitter: “...”

[Kemono Jihen]

Jinming: “I heard white spider lilies represent faithful, pure love. My cousin said that when white spider lilies bloom in my field, I'll have a Skull Reaper!!”

Akira: “Wow, how romantic! I hope you succeed soon!”

Ori: “But will this really summon a Skull Reaper? Wait... Am I really the only normal person here?”

Natsume, who was confessed to by her: “...”

Inugami, the dependable adult tanuki who was confessed to by her: “...”

Jinming, having completely misunderstood, catches sight of Mori and his Alice spending time together.

Jinming: So that's how it is. You're supposed to pamper your Skull Reaper!

“I want to join your organization too!”

She doesn't lose her temper until she sees a bandaged weirdo call his Skull Reaper his dog...

Jinming: “You despicable, shameless, greedy, pitiful humans! I'll destroy the world to punish you for your arrogance!”

Nakahara, the sighing mother hen with a receding hairline and dark circles from dealing with her: “Jinming, sit down.”

Jinming: “Yes. But, Skull Reaper, you have to call me Master.”

Jinming sits obediently, then comes to her senses and kicks the hem of the hat-wearing man's suit pants with her jade foot.

Dazai, the bandage freak, drama queen, and embodiment of No Longer Human: “Waaah, Slug, you've changed! You learned bad habits from the boss! How could you do that to a child so young?!”

Nakahara, teary-eyed Chuuya: Is this world out to get me or what?!!

Later, when Jinming goes back to her family, she learns that her kind, the Ye Ming Red Spider Lilies, are born with Skull Reapers of their own. She is deeply shocked.

Jinming: My Skull Reaper was me all along?!!

After learning that love meant a racing heart and an intense desire to have someone...

Jinming: “Douma, I like Muzan.”

Douma: “Little Jinming, you might sound more convincing if you wiped the drool off your mouth first~”

#Scene Two#

After inexplicably transmigrating and being taken in by the powerful miko Kikyo, Jinming is tricked into becoming the leader of a new yokai faction after Kikyo's death creates the Shikon Jewel...

Jinming: “The Western Lands' dog yokai, Toga, neglects his duties, lives in luxury, and treats others cruelly. We shall overthrow this incompetent ruler and establish a new dynasty.”

Underling: “My lady, the Western Lands' yokai ruler has fallen. The Dog General's son, Sesshomaru, is here, demanding revenge.”

Jinming: “Isn't he fighting the cat yokai right now? Why is he looking for me? I really didn't do it.”

#Scene Three#

After inexplicably transmigrating to the present day, she goes to Tokyo with a tanuki uncle and a ghoul half-yokai, joins a detective agency, and tries to find the thing that summoned her all those years ago.

Mikhail Floresk: “I recall your request was to find that thing, right? Why not take the case yourself? Trust me, you'll find something. (smiles)”

Jinming: “All right.”

Afterward...

Inugami: “You sent a little kid to Yokohama by herself to handle a case?”

A certain scheming vampire: “Heh. Don't get so worked up. She nearly ripped my arm off. Instead of worrying about her, you should worry about those kids.”

#Scene Four#

Nakahara Chuuya remembers that back then he hadn't become a hat rack yet and was still in the Razer Streets. He saw a crowd surrounding a little girl of about six, dressed in a sailor uniform and holding a suitcase. A familiar feeling made his retinas ache.

Out of a sense of justice, he helped the mysterious-looking girl and gave her his name. He never expected her to say something so shocking as she stared at him with calm, wide red eyes.

“Do you know Arahabaki?”

“Uh, no, I don't...”

“Oh.”

Chuuya thought that was the end of it. On his first day working at a certain shipping company in the port district, he put on his hat and went to the boss's office. There he saw the familiar little girl, labeled as a family member of Executive Ozaki Kouyou, and realized his secret identity had been exposed.

Jinming, a little Red Spider Lily, firmly believes the human world makes no sense. After taking a job and coming to the Razer Streets, she discovers that the thing that led her to summon someone is radiating scorching heat. When a crowd surrounds her, a strange human with one hand in his pocket protects her. He even tells her that if she gets into trouble in the Razer Streets in the future, she can give them his name.

“Do you know Arahabaki?”

He doesn't know? Of course. How could a human know about something like that? Having gotten her answer, Jinming naturally chooses to trust this human man.

After accepting a job, Jinming takes on the appearance of a girl about twelve and heads to the client's home.

“Why are you here?”

“Is it bloodlust? No wonder those lowly yokai surrounded you like that.”

Jinming looks at Chuuya, who ended up in the yokai world after being accidentally spirited away. She glances at the pursuers behind him, and at last a hint of disdain appears on her impassive face.

Nakahara, disdained Chuuya: “...”

Jinming is a member of a certain port organization. Mr. Mori appoints her head of a special department that, while not an executive division, enjoys the same standing as one...

I'm in the boss's office. All my friends are here. My business partners are kneeling when they see me. Help, I'm desperate.

Faced with Mr. Mori's half-smile, Jinming radiates pure confusion. She has never once taken off her disguise, so what is this sudden feeling of having her secret identity exposed?

Business partner: “Lady Jinming, please come back with us.”

Jinming: “Who are you?”

Business partner: “Our leader in the Ghost-Hidden Group is Douma.”

Jinming: “Oh, then it's fine.”

Everyone: “Jinming, who is Douma?”

Jinming: “He's my dad.”

1. The characters may be out of character, and the author has no writing skills.

2. Chuuya is the love interest.

3. The heroine is weak in the first Demon Slayer world. After that, she's invincible.

Note: The protagonist of this story knows the protagonist of the previous story, [Onmyoji + Demon Slayer: Raising a Zombie at Home], but you can read this one without having read the last one! Some hidden clues from the previous story will be resolved here, and anything that can't be explained in this story will be explained in the next.
