Eighteen-year-old Mycroft Holmes has always prided himself on his rationality, keen powers of analysis and thought, and genius-level intellect. He believes nothing in the world could ever take him by surprise.
Until he boards a ship for a study tour and, on a stormy night, sees a bewitching woman with a fish's tail rise from the water, singing a death song that leaves the crew dazed.
As he worries about how to escape the supernatural creatures surrounding them,
A large ship flying a rather ridiculous pirate flag bearing a skull with a flower in its mouth slowly emerges from the dark clouds, blocking the enormous full moon.
A petite girl wearing an oversized pirate hat drops from the sky, points a sword at the only person aboard who is still conscious, and loudly declares:
"You are my prize!"
This is the adventure of young Mr. Mycroft Holmes and a fairy girl who, despite being a land-dweller, inexplicably dreams of becoming a pirate captain. These two bickering rivals go from trying to outwit each other to teaming up to fight little monsters.
One day, after being forced aboard a "pirate ship," they run into an enemy with maxed-out combat skills.
Mycroft drags Flora into a tactical maneuver: "Draw your sword!"
Flora, gravely: "Sorry, I'm actually a ranged fighter. I use a bow. And this opinionated magic sword swore it would only serve someone who had studied swordsmanship."
Mycroft, dodging a critical hit: "Then why bring it?"
Flora, matter-of-factly: "Because a pirate captain needs a sword! That's how it is in fairy tales."
Mycroft, at his wit's end: "Give it here! I know how to use one!"
From then on, Mr. Mycroft Holmes, naturally lazy and enrolled in fencing only because his school required students to take part in sports, and it was an indoor activity available in every season, is forced into action.
Nineteenth-century Britain against a backdrop of Celtic mythology, set in the same world as Miss Watson of the Holmes Family. It's a standalone story, so you can read it without having read the other novel. This is the story of how Eric Holmes, a half-elf, came to be born, and how his parents fell in love. Eleven-year-old Sherlock Holmes also makes an appearance.
I don't write full-time, so I can't always promise daily updates when I'm busy, but I will absolutely not abandon the story.
Please give my upcoming story a hug:
A magical romance adventure in a steampunk world, The Mechanic Is Beating Up the Airship Captain Again Today
It was a wondrous age when alchemists took off their robes to teach at prestigious academies, mages openly summoned elemental spirits with their wands to entertain the public, and engineers used ingenious contraptions to clear London's fog with enormous airships.
There was no boundary between reality and the supernatural. Magic and science coexisted.
Fiona gazed up at the mechanical crystal drifting slowly across the sky, wiped her face, picked up a wrench, and opened a little mechanical repair shop in an era where everything was different from the nineteenth century she knew.
That was, until a strange customer came knocking.
"Hello, Miss. The truth is, I'm a hero, and my airship is about to set off to defeat the Demon King," said the young nobleman, famous throughout London society, whose handsome face graced the headlines every day.
"Please join my team as our engineer!"
"Ah, at last, the door to a new world is about to..." The engineer girl had been in this world for eighteen years and had never heard of such a strange thing as a Demon King. Her heart leaped with excitement. Then... she slammed the door shut, right in front of the young man's handsome nose.
A socially anxious tech nerd going on an adventure with a flashy nobleman like that?
Never in a million years!!!
"But you're already my accomplice, Miss."
The flashy noble mage smiled.
Seriously, why is a great noble like you wanted by both Scotland Yard and the London Mage Tower?
Fiona trembled as she held the wanted poster in both hands.
The engineer girl was forced aboard what was supposedly the world's most advanced airship, while the culprit grinned brightly. "Come with me, Miss Rand. We who chase the impossible are destined to become the stars of this age."
"Shut up, you fugitive!"
Theme: Curiosity makes the world wondrous.
Speaking of which, when I watched Ursula and Eric before, I thought their adventures were so exciting. But now when I look at the parents' stories, I realize that they must be parents and uncles 😂. Eric and Ursula's adventures have never left London 😂. They are all under the eyes of Eric's parents. Under the child, the only time Ursula went to Egypt was watched by her parents, Sherlock Watson was there, both children had a bunch of parents staring at them 😂, are the parents more promiscuous [spreading flowers], Eric Ursula, your father, mother and uncle must be more powerful 🌈 hehe
What kind of profession does a teacher do? I feel like the work is so hard... You have to pay attention to your health [Hold your chin]
He turned out to be really stupid... Most of the characters that appeared were characters with high IQs. Suddenly, a stupid person appeared and I felt a bit uncomfortable... Did he turn out to be really stupid?
I finally waited for you, but fortunately I didn't give up~aria~~
😭 Will the teacher come back and update stably? I miss the cute little couple Eric and Ursula, and I miss the side stories of my children so much.
Boss, haven't you updated it yet? 😣
Teacher, in the first modern chapter of Ursula and Eric, were they married or still engaged in the modern era (that is, they have been engaged for more than 100 years [caigou])? I'm particularly curious about this, hahahahaha
Teacher, Dr. Watson's cousin is seven years older than Sherlock (Antonio and Mycroft are about the same age), so how much older is Dr. Watson than Sherlock?
Okay [Spread flowers] [Spread flowers] [Spread flowers] Teacher, I'm really looking forward to the extras I mentioned before, the children's extras of Eric and Ursula. Teacher, click on the topic in the comment area to find the extras I mentioned last year (probably) that I want to watch 🙏 Teacher Teacher Wo re-read Miss Watson's book two days ago. I found that the parents have protected Ursula and Eric very well since they were young. Compared with the four parents, they are just good babies [spreading flowers]. Ursula has lived in a safe countryside chosen by her parents since she was a child, where she can cope, and Eric also Every year, we live half and half in our parents' territory, and it is absolutely safe. When we go to London, it is super safe under the eyes of our uncles. When we go on a cruise, our uncles follow us. When we go to Egypt, our uncles watch with Antonio and Xiaoxing. After all, the children have been very protective by the parent group. 🐰 Compared with the foursome of the parents, the parents are too fierce and have the whole world (both inside and outside) wandering around on their own. Aren't Antonio and Wu Xingyan in Teacher Teacher Wenli super powerful? Why did Ursula say that her mother couldn't see but could hear her when she was in Egypt, and that her father couldn't see either??? If that's the case, they are very powerful in the parent group, right? [Question mark] Can't all the powers disappear after reaching adulthood for more than ten years? So what's the situation like for parents when it comes to their children? Please, teacher, I told Ursula's parents in the children's book about Egypt that they didn't have the power to act like ordinary people, but when they were young they were magic bards or something and it felt super awesome [question mark] (Ursula was very anxious at the time and asked to call her over earlier). This feeling is so contradictory 🙏 🙏, please explain it to me, teacher 🙏
Very good!! It's an update! Welcome back!
