A Jug of Spring Beneath the Peach Blossoms

The consort and the Grand Princess divorced by an imperial decree from the Empress Dowager.

Everyone knew the consort was a debauched womanizer. Even after marrying the princess, he kept many women on the side and repeatedly humiliated her.

The Grand Princess was famous for her easygoing nature. She turned a blind eye to her consort's behavior, and everyone thought she'd keep putting up with it forever.

That was until she lost her first child with him. The Grand Princess personally asked the Empress Dowager to grant her a divorce.

Not long after the divorce, the Empress Dowager and the emperor discussed a good match for her: the Marquis of the Yun family.

The Marquis of the Yun family was honest and courteous, and the Empress Dowager believed the Grand Princess would have a good life after marrying him.

The Grand Princess thought so too, until she married into the Yun family and discovered that all the stories about the Marquis's courtesy were complete nonsense.

Looking at the haughty, rude Marquis, the Grand Princess was furious.

The Marquis of Yun had only ever heard that the Grand Princess was kind and tolerant. It was only after marrying her that he learned never to trust rumors.

Good-natured? She's clearly a spoiled little darling!!

* Alternate history. Everything is made up, so history buffs, don't come here. That's the right choice.

* The characters aren't finalized. Everything could change before the story begins.

* If you insist on chaste characters, don't read this. The female lead isn't a virgin.

* I haven't come up with names yet. I'll decide later.

* The ex-husband gets his just deserts. His ashes are scattered too.
