Dust on the Hem

Rumor has it that a girl who didn't belong there wandered into a glittering banquet.

Like Cinderella in a princess dress, she entered the prince's ball, then disappeared when it was over.

The young master of the Shen family, who had drifted through a sea of beauties, suddenly changed his ways and put on an innocent act, holding a glass of red wine as if drunk and lovesick.

When a friend asked him about it, he answered vaguely, "My Cinderella left with her glass slipper."

His friend tried to comfort him. There were plenty of ordinary women in the world. He could just find another.

Shen Zixun smiled and looked through the blood-red wine at the girl hiding in some unknown corner, brushing dust from the hem of her dress.

A prince only has one Cinderella. When she leaves, he is no longer a prince.
