After Becoming a Genderbent Mahito, I Decided to Debut

=v= Check out the blurb at the very bottom for my upcoming fic, a derivative work inspired by the quick-draw Infinite City story, "Muichiro Keeps Hopping Between the Red and Black Sides Today". When I woke up, I had been stripped of my human status. I always felt like I was unlucky, but I never imagined I could be this unlucky. Losing my humanity was bad enough, but on top of that, I was given a villain’s registration. I’d transmigrated into the cursed spirit Mahito, in a female version, to be precise. I’m worried, anxious, and miserable. I don’t want to get casually sent off to meet the ancestors by 5t5 one day, and I don’t want to become a goon for that brain who ought to be boiled in a hot pot. I just want to live out the decades I’ve lost, so I’m going to stay away from both protagonists and villains, go the opposite way, and hide somewhere nobody would ever think to look, keeping my head down and taking advantage of the chaos. So, I’m getting ready to make my debut. * With her eerie yet somewhat innocent charm, Mahito-chan became an overnight sensation. In just a month, she was famous nationwide and the dream girl of ninety million young men and women. Mahito-chan’s dream came true, since she’d escaped the dangerous world of jujutsu sorcerers. But it also didn’t quite come true, because Pink-haired tiger cub: Eerie beauties are the best! I’ll always love Mahito-chan! The Strongest Sorcerer: Stares pensively at the stunning female idol on the big screen. The cursed spirits: They exchange a look in silence. Isn’t this the companion we’ve been searching for all along? * 1. My headcanons are everywhere. OOC warning. 2. If you don’t like Mahito, just quietly click away. 3. Couple not yet decided. 4. The main story is told in third person. 5. Cursed spirits don’t have genders. I only use the term gender-swapped because it’s easier to describe. 6. I have no writing skills or logic. Run!!! "Muichiro Keeps Hopping Between the Red and Black Sides Today" In a nutshell: I thought I was the only one who transmigrated. Why are you here too, big bro? When Muichiro Tokito woke up, his memories were completely blank. He only remembered a pair of eyes very much like his own, and a dark organization steeped in bloodshed. When five noisy police officers rescued him, he decided to join Matsuda and the others to take revenge on the organization. To get his revenge, Muichiro displayed inhuman talent. Hand-to-hand combat? He could do it after seeing it once. Sniping? His aim was instinctively precise. Bomb disposal? It came as naturally as breathing. Jinpei Matsuda: "Kid! Don’t dismantle a bomb with your bare hands! That’s dangerous!" Hiromitsu Morofushi: "...Did he just pick that handcuff lock with a single wire?" Rei Furuya watched Muichiro apprehend a criminal with exquisite precision and fell into thought. "He seems... really eager to 'join' us." And so Muichiro Tokito became the youngest and most talented recruit in history, secretly recruited by the Metropolitan Police Department under the codename Mist. Everyone thought he was a pitiful boy who had lost his older brother and was trying his best to carry on, so they doted on him. Somehow, he maxed out the Red Team’s affection meter. * Later, when Rei Furuya and Hiromitsu Morofushi went undercover at the Black Organization, they froze the moment they saw one of its top brass. The organization’s newly promoted top killer, Calvados, was famous for his incredible efficiency and vicious tongue. He had exactly the same face as Muichiro Tokito. Yuichiro Tokito had a secret: he was looking for his missing younger brother. When he got hold of the core list sent back by an undercover agent inside the police, his fingers trembled as they stopped on a name and photograph. The prodigy hailed by the Metropolitan Police Department as a "rising star" was none other than the younger brother he had searched for in vain, Muichiro. The file noted: [Suspected severe psychological trauma. Deeply loathes the Black Organization and has an intense fixation on revenge.] Yuichiro looked at the crisp black suit he was wearing and the pistol in his hand, and fell into a long silence. * The Metropolitan Police Department’s leadership summoned Muichiro: "Your target is the organization member codenamed Calvados." At the same time, the Black Organization’s boss gave an order: "Calvados, eliminate Mist. He’s a beacon of hope the organization must extinguish." At the mission site, the brothers came face-to-face. Muichiro: (Tightens his grip on his gun, eyes slightly red.) Yuichiro: (Veins bulging at his temple.) This idiot... He’s not only alive and kicking, he’s trying to arrest me?! #We all have a bright future, except the brother who’s about to die of anger# #So much for saving his little brother. Now the kid’s the other side’s trump card?# #Trying our best to "bring each other in" today, too# Theme: Even ordinary people can shine.
