Living Off My Junior Brother to Reach the Top of My Career

Ji Ningxia has lived by the motto "lying flat is bliss" all his life. He's lazy, content to drift along, and will lie down whenever he can and sleep whenever possible.

As the sect's senior disciple, he's a master at keeping everyone happy and is adored by his fellow disciples, even if his talent is mediocre and he's not very ambitious.

Xie Jingjing is exceptionally gifted, strikingly handsome, and skilled at manipulating people.

Everyone in the Hengshui Sect says he's destined to become an immortal.

Though everyone in the sect admires and adores senior brother Ji Ningxia, that's all they do. There are two reasons: they can't get him to do anything, and they can't compete with Xie Jingjing.

Only Xie Jingjing is willing to drag his deadweight senior brother along.

Xie Jingjing: Senior Brother, wake up and have breakfast.

Xie Jingjing: I've learned this morning's cultivation technique. I'll teach it to you now.

Xie Jingjing: I found the magical artifact. Just take it back and say you found it.

Xie Jingjing: Senior Brother, have you fallen asleep again? You spend all day dozing and lazing around. Aren't you afraid I'll...

Ji Ningxia rubbed his bleary eyes. "Junior Brother, I'm hungry."

Xie Jingjing: ...All right, Senior Brother. I'll take you back and feed you.

In no time at all, Xie Jingjing became the supreme Dao Ancestor, worshipped by all living beings.

Ji Ningxia, the deadweight who'd been dragged along in a daze: Junior Brother, how did you get so intense about cultivation?

Xie Jingjing: Senior Brother, no one will ever bother you to get up and practice again. Are you happy?

Ji Ningxia: I'm pretty happy. But could you do a little less at night? My legs have been weak lately.

He used to be unable to get out of bed in the morning. Now he can't get out of bed morning, noon, or night.

A sweet, doting romance. The top has loved the bottom from the very beginning.

A laid-back bottom x a cold-on-the-outside, unhinged-on-the-inside top

The main storyline: The top gets a satisfying power-up journey and levels up at lightning speed, while the bottom gets plenty of steamy, lovey-dovey romance.
