Falling Into Darkness [Crime Investigation]

I once swore to my precious darling that I'd never write a detective novel in this lifetime, but then I ended up loving the idea.

Here's a rough blurb that still needs work:

After graduating, Qi Xingluo and his college roommate Gu Xingchen took jobs in different parts of the city. Even though they lived in the same city, they went years without seeing each other.

Like two parallel lines, they thought their paths would never cross again.

Unexpectedly, a case brought them back together.

They joined forces to solve cases, overcame one obstacle after another, and became a beautiful story at the police station, one too wonderful for words.

The words "Two stars side by side, countless cases laid to rest" stayed with them for many years.

Beneath a sky full of stars, Gu Xingchen said to Qi Xingluo:

"You are a gift the universe sent me, a star fallen from the heavens. A star belongs in the arms of the stars."

The stars dim, birds fly home, fallen leaves stir in the spring breeze.

-- Gu Xingchen

The sun breaks through after the rain, as if accompanying the stars.

-- Qi Xingluo

I would lose myself in the universe, just to shine for you alone.

Theme: The universe never breaks its promise to any stirring of the heart or romantic moment
