How Is a Contrarian Made?

There is a group of people in this world who can do anything. Once they pick up a keyboard, they are invincible.

Ye Yunluan is the forsaken child of the Goddess of Luck, as he likes to call himself. It's not that he's especially unlucky, but he isn't lucky either. He feels like he's stumbled into a nest of contrarians.

[Group One]

Ye Yunluan: I saw a movie on xx called xxx. The plot is pretty good, so I recommend checking it out.

Contrarian: What, you don't know it's a terrible movie? And none of the actors can act. You can tell that actor called xx had xxx done to their face!

Ye Yunluan: "..." Okay, my bad.

[Group Two]

Ye Yunluan: [Link] I found a really cheap, smooth-flowing ballpoint pen on Taobao that doesn't use up much ink, and shipping is free. Just thought I'd recommend it.

Contrarian: Cheap stuff is never any good! I buy xx brand pens from physical stores in xx country. They cost over a hundred each!

Ye Yunluan: "..." Wow, aren't you amazing!

[Group Three]

Ye Yunluan: A new gym opened near my place, and they're running a promotion. I've been thinking it's about time I started exercising. Anyone want to come with me and sign up?

Contrarian: Hey, don't fall for their promotions. They're all shady marketing tricks. And you don't look like someone who likes exercising anyway. You'll sign up and then let the membership go to waste! You can give the card to me then. I definitely won't waste it like you would!

Ye Yunluan: "..." Wow, you know me so "well"? And are we even close?

Eventually, Ye Yunluan stopped caring. They were all idiots, not worth his time.

But Wei Chi couldn't stand it anymore. "How dare you argue with someone I cherish and pamper! Watch Brother Wei unleash eight hundred varieties of verbal abuse!"

Ye Yunluan: (￣, ￣) Staying calm (sipping tea)
