The wind billowed the white shirt slightly. That slender figure didn't look back, disappearing from the bridge in an instant.

The screen suddenly went black.

Red-eyed and frantic, Xu Che ran there, only to be stopped at the bridge by a long line of police tape and several officers.

"Sir, sir, you can't go any farther."

His voice hoarse, the man growled, holding back his anguish. "Let me through. I'm... his friend!"

Gu Ming'an, holding a little girl in his arms, poked his head out. "?"

The feed came back, and the broadcast resumed.
