The Boss's Lover Ran Away

[Abandoned. Do not click.]

The Port Mafia is a dark empire that has changed leaders three times in just a few years.

The one thing that never changes is the secret shared by all three leaders, hidden at the top of the headquarters: "Doctor Shimau."

Leader Mori: You only need to use your abilities from the rear.

Leader Dazai: If you still want to know how Mr. Mori is doing, stay here on the top floor with me.

Leader Chuuya: Don't you dare leave with that guy. Don't leave me, got it?

Shimau is the Port Mafia boss's lover. Only he knows that when they entwine in the middle of the night, his lover is always looking through him at himself in a parallel world.

He's a stand-in.

As it happens, the boss is a stand-in for him too :)

Doctor Shimau, sick of being a stand-in: I'm getting out of here!

Oda, the sweet writer: Welcome home.

18: I haven't settled the score with you for leaving without a word.

The world's greatest detective, who prefers not to give his name: I'll take this case.

Did Doctor Shimau manage to escape the top floor today?

[The Mafia bosses come and go, but the boss's lover stays.]

Please note:

1. Old-school melodrama, a repentant-chaser storyline, and a stand-in plot. Choose one of Mori, Dazai, or Chuuya.

2. An unapologetic, everyone-falls-for-him wish-fulfillment story, open ending, extreme out-of-character behavior, and an all-powerful golden finger. Set in the Dazai-as-boss IF world. I apologize to Dazai and Chuuya.

3. The protagonist is a scummy bottom and has been the lover of all three leaders, changing partners three times. Not recommended for readers who require chaste characters.

4. This is an IF-line side story to Port Mafia Nanny, Losing Her Mind Online. You can read this without having read the other story.

Coming soon: After Dumping Gojo Cat and Dazai. Please add it to your reading list!

Blurb:

Shen Shanxun, a rich second-generation heir, has a problem:

The day after he breaks up with the bandage-wearing nutjob he's been dating for two years,

his father kicks him out and threatens to freeze his cards unless he finds a partner and gets married.

Shen Shanxun is a man who likes men, but he doesn't have the guts to come out.

Question: Is it too late to get back together with his shameless ex-boyfriend, who is willing to cross-dress as a woman?

Determined not to go back to his ex, Shen Shanxun quickly finds himself a partner: Gojo Cat, the strongest in the jujutsu world.

Handsome, sweet-talking, energetic, and rich, Gojo gives him a comfortable life, and Shen promptly puts his father's marriage pressure out of his mind.

Who could have guessed their relationship would face fierce opposition from a whole crowd of people? The old geezers openly mock him every day, saying that without cursed energy he's not good enough for Gojo Cat.

Shen Shanxun: Damn, Gojo Cat, I've never had to put up with this kind of humiliation in my life.jpg

Even Gojo Cat's friend tries to steal him away: You'd be better off with me.

Shen Shanxun: ...Well, I wouldn't be opposed.

A true player will never give up an entire ocean for one fish.

After dumping Gojo Cat, he posted on his social media:

[Looking for a husband, openly. Tops preferred, first come, first served. Ex-boyfriends need not apply.]

Chuuya liked the post: Finally broken up? Come out for a drive.

Qishen: Got it.

R-sama: There's room for another lover. Interested?

Gomen Shen: Look at me! Sweet and salty! Honest and reliable, only five yuan!

A certain sword: My lord, perhaps it is time to choose a new attendant.

[You have received a message from Dazai]: Still meeting up today?

Theme: Independence and self-reliance.
