Am I a Tree? [Honghuang]

When Xi Rong wakes up, she has become a banyan sapling, floating in a gray, hazy void. She knows she's a banyan because right in front of her is the game screen from the game she was playing before she died suddenly: "I Am a Banyan Tree". That's right. That's the game's name. It's a realistic tree simulator with no controls at all. The player can only leave it running and watch a tree slowly sprout and grow as the sun rises and sets. Now Xi Rong has become a tree that can't move at all. Xi Rong: ...As the saying goes, staying still makes you a turtle. From now on, everyone can call me Little Turtle. :) Before she can even process what's happening, someone steps on her. Xi Rong's leaves tremble. She can't even let out a damn expletive! She thinks, bitter and in tears: Today you step on my head. Tomorrow I'll grow on your grave! A few days later, she watches a giant create the heavens and earth and hold them apart. When the giant transforms into all things, she gets her wish and falls from the sky to grow on his grave. And that giant... seems to be named Pangu. Xi Rong: ...This is ridiculous! Blurb two Xi Rong: What's this? Everyone: The Merit Supreme Treasure, the Hongmeng Measuring Heaven Ruler! Xi Rong: No, it's just an ordinary ruler. Xi Rong: What's this? Everyone: The Innate Spiritual Treasure, the Creation Cauldron, transformed from the lotus platform of the Chaos Green Lotus! Xi Rong: No, it's just a bronze cauldron for cooking porridge. Xi Rong: One last question: What am I? Everyone: A terrifying old monster, mysterious and unfathomable, who calculates everything and controls the prehistoric world! Xi Rong snaps: Wrong on every count! How many times do I have to tell you? I'm just an ordinary tree! As usual, this is a feel-good, hilarious wish-fulfillment story. Character stats: Constitution 1, spiritual root potential 1, comprehension 999! For cultivators, the most important things are always cultivation techniques, spirit pills, magical treasures, and all the resources that make people green with envy. But in the Heavenly Ascension Staircase and the Heart-Questioning Array, a young woman sits in meditation for three days and nights before saying, “I don't cultivate immortality. I seek the Dao. If I hear the Dao in the morning, I can die content that evening!” In an instant, vast spiritual qi surges around her. The young woman becomes the last person accepted into the Xuantian Sect this year, yet immediately advances from an ordinary mortal to the Qi Refining stage! The head of the Xuantian Sect is delighted and takes her on as his personal disciple, thinking he has struck gold. Little does he know he has picked up a menace. Shocking! Why does the head's direct disciple live by scavenging trash? Terrifying! Why does this young woman give flowers to people of all ages and genders? Who does she love?! Who dares challenge the sect-guarding evil flood dragon with a broken sword? Who crawls around in the middle of the night, twisted and menacing, making all the disciples scream in unison? And who says she'll hang herself from someone else's doorway with a belt?! * In the game, Yun Miao acts cool as the wind and cultivates through sudden enlightenment alone. She also becomes a female lecturer who understands human nature, force-feeding inspirational advice to sword immortals, Buddhist disciples, immortal maidens, demonesses, and devil lords. Countless NPCs are spiritually transformed and suddenly reach enlightenment. They willingly join her cause and revere her, until she becomes the supreme Dao Venerable! Yun Miao logs off, satisfied, only to learn that spiritual qi has revived in the real world. Countless great powers, dormant for tens of thousands of years, have awakened and are shouting before her: “Welcome back, Dao Venerable!” Yun Miao: ???! A feel-good, hilarious Fourth Calamity story.
