Scraping By in Honghuang [Honghuang]

This isn't a serious or proper story. It's a lighthearted comedy. Shang Qian is in the primordial world and has done every stupid thing a transmigrator should avoid. He became Tongtian's disciple and took charge of the Jie School, charging straight down the broad road to becoming cannon fodder in the Investiture of the Gods. Shang Qian curses under his breath and decides to cling to a Saint's leg, making himself the Three Pure Ones' favorite disciple and Dao Ancestor Hongjun's favorite grand-disciple. Most importantly, he must stay out of other people's business and avoid getting entangled in karma. Just look at how Hongyun died from meddling too much, and how the Wu and Yao clans perished after stirring up trouble. He just needs to cling to the Saint's leg and be an honest, upright little coin. That's the way to survive. He also passes on his life experience to his newly accepted disciple: Want to get rich? First cling to someone powerful, then plant trees. Other people's mountains are our gold and silver mines. Shang Qian's newly accepted disciple: ? After lying low for a hundred thousand years... Heavenly Dao: It's time to bring out the tragic Investiture of the Gods script. Shang Qian waves enthusiastically: "Do you want this golden script where everyone gets a happy ending, or this silver script where the Heavenly Dao is the only one who dies?" Heavenly Dao: !! Where did this guy come from, and how did he steal my director's chair? A preview of my upcoming story, "I Join Qin Shi Huang in Rebellion" (the First Emperor and the heroine have a father-daughter relationship). Zhao Xi wakes up in the Qin dynasty. She looks at the technology-tree golden finger she brought with her, then at the talented people she has just discovered. She falls into deep thought. If talented people and a golden finger are enough for Xiang Yu and Liu Bang, why not for her, Zhao Xi? "Friend, I observed the heavens last night. The First Emperor has at most seven years left to live. The realm will descend into chaos then, and we'll surely be able to take his place." Zhao Xi slaps the table. "Let's rebel! When I become emperor, I'll make you a king!" Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng, learning that he might become a king in the future: "...All right." And so Zhao Xi begins planting sweet potatoes, smelting fine steel, stockpiling grain, and building high walls. Years later, Zhao Xi has made all the preparations for rebellion, but no matter how long she waits, the news of the First Emperor's death never comes. One day, Qin General Meng Tian surrounds Zhao Xi with his troops. The First Emperor steps down from his carriage and smiles faintly. "Surprised?" Theme: Stand on your own feet and grow stronger
