[Hunter X Hunter] The Captain and I Share a Deep Brotherly Bond

Twin boys were unexpectedly born into the Lucilfer family, but the master had only thought of the name "Chrollo" beforehand. In a moment of desperation, he kept up his dignified image and pointed at the other baby. "Then this one will be called... Chips Ahoy."

■■, still in a daze after transmigrating, suddenly came to his senses. What?! I don't want to be called Chips Ahoy!

But all he could do was cry like a baby in protest.

His cries were quickly drowned out by the applause around him.

The dog family weren't just terrible at naming. Their conduct was just as awful.

■■ gazed up at the sky.

The family placed some kind of contract on them and explained: For the next 30 years, whoever kills the other will permanently gain their abilities and the inheritance of the entire family. If they both make it to 30, they'll both die.

■■: ...

Got it. The dog family wants brotherly love, faker than plastic.

■■ sat in the courtyard, resting his chin on his hand. "Chrollo, how about we don't kill each other? Let's be loving brothers instead. I'll be a good big brother, and you can be a good little brother. We'll make it to 30 together, then die happily ever after. How's that?"

Six-year-old Chrollo: (smiles)

Smiling in silence.

■■: ...Are you already thinking about how to kill me? :-D

My little brother isn't cute at all!

Chrollo Lucilfer has an older brother only a few minutes his senior.

Their relationship is neither good nor bad.

But when Chrollo receives a book full of his brother's bills and "legendary exploits"...

The leader of the Phantom Troupe closes the book and says with a smile, "Our next job is to kill ■■."

■■, living it up under the name Chrollo: Huh? Why did it suddenly get so cold? Is my not-at-all-cute little brother thinking about me? =w=

A story born from the unresolved feelings left by Hunter x Hunter, focused on family and friendship. I'm fond of the whole cast and won't bash any characters!

This story was conceived before Chrollo's backstory was revealed, so for now it follows the old canon.
