On My Ex-Boyfriend Turning into an Android After Death and Reproducing

Part 1

I had an ex-boyfriend. He died.

I never expected to run into him again four years later, in a coffee shop in Yokohama.

At the time, he was trying to pick up another woman.

I thought my ex-boyfriend had deceived me about his feelings, so I went over to demand an explanation. But then I was told: my ex-boyfriend really was dead. The person standing in front of me was a bioroid who had inherited his thoughts.

I followed him for a long time and found that he often did things that made no sense.

Like eating poisonous mushrooms and dancing the poisonous mushroom dance.

Like suddenly jumping into the river while out for a walk along the bank.

...He was nothing like the dangerous ex-boyfriend I remembered.

So I was sure of it.

He wasn't just a bioroid. He was a shoddy one with a program bug.

To fix him, I paid a fortune to find a reliable Russian programmer online.

When I told him my ex-boyfriend's name was Dazai Osamu, the programmer suddenly fell silent.

Part 2

The bioroid ex-boyfriend was simply too different from the one I knew.

I still couldn't forget the ex-boyfriend I had back then, so I tried to get the Russian programmer to make me a new bioroid based on my memories of him. But the programmer told me, "Go to bed and dream on. Sweet dreams."

That Russian programmer was the textbook definition of saying one thing and meaning another, because the next day, despite saying he wouldn't, he personally delivered the new bioroid to me.

Yes, this new bioroid had a temperament much closer to the man I remembered. The bandages over his eyes were on the wrong side, though, and there was a red scarf around his neck for some reason. But that's all right. Those are minor issues.

Not only that, the Russian programmer also made him more like a mature man, and even gave him a backstory: he had transmigrated from a parallel world and was the leader of the Port Mafia.

I was very satisfied and gave the Russian programmer a five-star review, but he replied with a string of question marks.

...Oh, and by the way, I'm a psychic. My summoned spirit is also named Dazai Osamu.

But he's the red one.

Part 3

Not long afterward.

I looked at the three Dazai Osamus in front of me and couldn't help shouting:

Did I owe you all something in my past life?!
