I Finally Got Added to the Roster After Aspiring to Be a Great Writer

[Mainly Bungo Stray Dogs / Bungo and Alchemist] [No CP, male protagonist]

[Blurb]

As a devoted fan of works inspired by literary greats, my life's ambition was to become a modern-day literary great, then be added to the cast before I was buried and turned to ash, so I could become part of the works I loved.

...But I died before achieving my dream.

To my surprise, after I died, people unearthed my works, and they won all kinds of awards.

But I didn't care about those awards at all.

I just wanted to be added to the cast! I wanted it so badly! Please, just let me be added to the cast!!!

Maybe because my notebooks and computer files were full of lines like Dazai Osamu shouting, "I want the Akutagawa Prize so badly! I want the Akutagawa Prize so badly! I want the Akutagawa Prize so badly!" the official creators finally decided to grant my wish, and put me in a spin-off novel.

Maybe the official creators were determined to make a joke out of the fact that I died young. I actually got killed off at the end of the spin-off novel.

...Fine, I can live with that.

But can somebody tell me why I have to transmigrate into my own body after it's been added to the cast, just to go through a plot where I'm doomed to die?!

Why do I have to die all over again?! I'm not going to lie down and accept it!!!

I'm going to live longer than anyone else!!!

[Notes]

(Probably) a serious story mixed with silly comedy. The plot develops slowly, and it's not very long.

Please go easy on me; this is my first time writing a male-protagonist story.

Theme: I worked hard to become a literary great, and finally got added to the cast
