Notes in the Palm of Your Hand

[A cool-headed, secretly warm, disciplined CEO x an energetic, healing music student]

"Aunt Liang, could I... stop learning piano?"

Ling Yu hugs her shabby stuffed toy and stands timidly in the doorway of the music room.

Liang Rui closes the financial report. Her gaze is cool behind her gold-rimmed glasses. "What did you call me?"

"S-Sis... Sister..."

The accident took away Ling Yu's last family member,

and pushed this scarred girl into Liang Rui's world.

She is a formidable MIT-educated CEO, famous in the business world.

Her intimidating presence makes even her negotiating opponents keep their distance.

Yet now she has to learn how to tie a ponytail for a sixteen-year-old girl,

and sign a name she'd never written before at a parent-teacher meeting.

Until one rainy night,

she discovers the recordings Ling Yu has secretly saved.

They're all little snippets of things Liang Rui has said while working.

"Why?"

"Because... your voice is the only thing that lets me sleep peacefully."

When the girl's piano music pierces the cold mansion,

and candy starts appearing in the CEO's suit pocket,

they finally realize

that this unexpected bond

was the best arrangement fate could have made.
